The Golion Drinking Game

So you've picked up the DVDs of "Beast King Golion", the subtitled anime of
that footage you Earth types know as "Voltron"? Well let me show you the
best way to enjoy this, uh, unique take on that media.
How to play? The instructions are easy.
#1 - Get several bottles of some kind of intoxicating beverage. Beer,
wine, hard liquor for you hardcore types, fruity drinks with umbrellas, or for
those of you that choose not to partake in spirits, an acceptable substitute
like junk food with a high sugar or caffeine content.
#2 - Gather a couple of your pals who will enjoy watching this stuff with
you, and won't get all upset because you're not taking their precious anime
seriously. (If you have one of these super-dorks as your friends, my
condolences.)
#3 - Hit play, and follow the instructions for drinking below.
Warning: Do not play this game and attempt to operate any heavy
machinery, pilot a vehicle, or if you're a lightweight, write your name after a
serious round of the Golion Drinking Game!
If
any of the following occur, drink one sip or a piece of junk food.
- The Galrans mention sending someone to Hell.
- The Deathblack Beastman of the day is given a proper name.
- Drink twice if you snicker or giggle when you first hear the beastman's
name, or if "Hell" is somewhere in the name.
- Hys is mocked by one of the Golion team.
- Someone swears.
- You witness a bloody death that was declared a robot casualty or merely a
bad injury in Voltron.
- Corny 70s music starts playing.
- Even cornier 70s video game sound effects are used.
- Sincline has a fantasy about Fala that's naughtier than Lotor's in
Voltron.
- A Galran talks about drinking someone's blood.
- Honerva's spell includes the words "el roy mu" in the chant.
- Fala is told to stay behind in the castle because it's too dangerous for
her.
- Raible acts like he has a large stick wedged somewhere unpleasant.
If
any of these events occur, drink two sips or a small handful of junk food.
- The Golion team and/or an Altean declares that someone should be sent to
or is going to Hell.
- When Golion is formed, the generic Golion song is replaced by a song
specific to one of the robot lions.
- Drink again if the lion song is seemingly chosen at random for the episode
(e.g., that lion and/or pilot didn't do anything particularly noteworthy for
that episode to get that honor)
- You witness a death that was cut entirely from Voltron.
- A crowd of villagers, soldiers, or other large group of individuals are
shown dead or being killed.
- One of the Golion team is referred to by their proper name rather than a
nickname.
- Fala winds up being endangered while in the castle.

If
any of the following rarer events occur, take a big gulp or a huge handful of
junk food.
- The Galrans come off as less bloodthirsty than their Doomite Voltron
counterparts.
- The Golion episode makes even less sense than the Voltron version.
- An important character (one that appears in more than one episode and/or
is central to an arc) dies.
- The Golion team doesn't save the day or enjoy total victory at the
end of the episode.
