And the loser of the month for October 2007 is...

Queen Orla!

In the spirit of that Galaxy Alliance holiday Halloween our loser this month is one of the many that come from GA territory, none other than the very one our witch Haggar impersonated once upon a time in a Halloween-style trick of the Doom variety.

Queen Orla earns the Loser of the Month title for being the unimportant nobody of Arus' royal family.  Everyone in the galaxy has heard of King Alfor the Undead Pain in the Ass and his pretty wife that bought it in the war against Arus.

Little was ever known or said about the dearly departed Arusian queen's little sister.  Who's also a queen, but not important or competent enough to rule, apparently, even while Princess Allura was underage.  In fact, no one in the Castle of Lions bothered to find out if Allura's auntie Orla was alive or not until the day Haggar pulled her little trick-or-treat stunt. 

Rumor has it that this is because the little sister of Arus' real queen is little more than a royal copycat.  She wears her big sister's clothes and styles her hair a lot like hers... (Orla's on the left, Allura's mom's on the right below)  Originality must've been inbred out of that line of the Arusian royalty.

When she shows up at Arusian Thanksgiving, she stirs up family drama by starting arguments between Allura, the mice, and the castle staff...

And when she found out how long Allura had been living in her posh high-tech castle after it inexplicably grew out of the ground that fateful day we blew up the old one, while she was still traveling in a crappy horse and buggy, she snapped.

Had she actually followed through on her tantrum, she might have earned some cool points from those of us on Doom, but true to whiny good guy style, she fell apart sobbing, and that sappy princess forgave her "favorite aunt".

And since whiners annoy us almost as much as sanctimonious good guys, Queen Orla earns her title as Queen of the Losers!
