And the loser of the month for May 2005 is...

Hazar!

Marshall Keezor isn't the only Drule from that end of the empire worth mocking.  Say what you will about him and Fat Bastard, but at least they have their priorities straight when it comes to conquering.  Drule Fabio over here can't even manage that.

When you first meet him, you might get the impression that Hazar's a decent guy for one of those Drule Council types.  He held a pretty high rank once upon a time, he had a reputation for being a general badass, and his silky mane of hair and big muscles scored big with the chicks.

He even has a hot sister that I'd like to get alone in the backseat of the nearest space cruiser.

Unfortunately Commander Hazar is as dumb as a box of rocks.  He has this asinine idea about making peace with the Galaxy Alliance and expects the entire Drule Council to swallow his BS.  Even worse, he defies orders to push his political agenda, and then wonders why the loyal Drules don't carry them out and instead follow some other commander's orders to blast Voltron to bits.  Now I don't know about how they handle things on that end of the empire, but if you go around defying Zarkon, you get punished with more than a "that wasn't very nice; don't do it again."  You don't do it again because your ass is splattered at the bottom of the Pit of Skulls.

Hazar isn't smart enough to do that though.  Instead he usually just throws a pissy temper tantrum, mopes a lot, whines to his sister,

and tells them on no uncertain terms not to do it again!

Uh, yeah.

Not surprisingly the response is "Ok boss!" and then they go out and blow up the nearest Alliance ship like Nerok told them to behind Hazar's back.

Then Hazar has another angst fit!

I'm convinced that the only reason this guy is still even alive, much less still able to get any sort of audience among the Drule Council, is because some horny old noblewoman with clout thinks he's hot.
