And the loser of the month for January 2005 is...

Pidge!

Pidge gets the honor of being 2005's first loser because, well, because he's such a geek how can you not pick on him?

First there's the glasses.  Maybe they work for Harry Potter among the wizard wannabe chicks, but I'm pretty sure that they're universally dorky in every other social circle, and I don't think that headband does anything other than give the bullies an easy way to grab his head so it can be flushed down the nearest toilet.

Pidge is also a loser because he's a huge crybaby that's afraid of his shadow.  Look at all this footage we got of the "brave" green lion pilot having a fit or whimpering like a little girly-girl.

He didn't even take being nominated as a loser for this page like a man.  This was his reaction when he found out.

At least when I piss off the other Voltron force members (except for Pinky, who whines like a girl too, but at least she is a girl!) they have the guts to threaten to kick my ass or something.  This dork just sent me a computer virus.  Duh!  Like we don't have protection from that here on Doom?  Hello, we write most of the viruses!  Our robots are multitalented, you know!

Maybe he should stick with computers, though, because he's such a wuss that even animals freak him out.

Occasionally he tries to be cool and drink underage...

Said coolness is seriously undermined by his choice of a fruity pink drink weaker than Allura's honey wine coolers.

So there you have it, 2005's very first Loser of the Month.  Congratulations, Pidge!  I can't think of anyone who deserves to be made fun of more than you!
