Remembering Jonestown.

At sunset Princess
Allura, the Voltron Force,
Coran, Nanny,
and the Space Mice gathered at the lake and
Princess Allura put a wreath on the water, and everyone watched it float on
the lake.
Today they were here to remember the 908 people
that were killed at Jonestown, when they
were forced to drink poison, and all died in a
mass suicide or forced to drink it by the cult leader Jim Jones.
The People's Temple ended there, everyone found out
what happened, it was a terrible thing to happen.
Jim Jones's son
survived and did a few others. But many
more, family and friends died. it would never be forgotten.
Allura spoke,
"We are here today to honor those lives that were lost in 1978 at
Jonestown, 908 people died, and 300 of
them were children. It should have never happened, but it did sadly. We
shall never forget".
"Good speech Princess", says Lance.
"Thank you", she said, "It's the least we can do,
all those lives".
"And Jones, he had someone shoot him too that
coward", said Lance.
"People lost loved ones", added
Pidge.
"And friends", said Hunk.
"Jim Jones is not the first nor the last cult
leader, many new cults still come up", said
Coran.
Nanny sighed,
"People's Temple started out as a good thing, but then it turned into a
police state. Ending in mass murder".
Keith said, "Yes, but people like Jim Jones are
never forgotten. The People's Temple turned ugly, but luckily few made it
out. Let us never forget".
After a moment of
silence, everyone went back into the castle. What happened at Jonestown
never will be forgotten.
