And the loser of the month for August 2004 is...

Prince Bandor!

This kid earns the title of Loser of the Month for being such a whiny little weenie.  Really, what is Pollux thinking putting him in charge?  Granted, his sister Princess Romelle isn't much of a prize either, but there must be a better choice.  Didn't King Cova have at least one illegitimate child cooler than this guy anywhere on the planet?  We all know royal types keep big harems, or at least tend to keep a few lovers on the side.  Pollux should look harder!

But back to Bandor, first of all, Prince Shorty isn't even close to adult.  I know planets have different rules about things, but he's at least five years under Doom's legal age of being considered adult.  Even worse, he's not even one of those "mature for their age" kind of kids.  Nope, he's a half-pint warrior wannabe that has temper tantrums on the battlefield when he doesn't get his way.  Don't believe me?  Here's photographic evidence:

My guess is that Sven was probably stuck babysitting him again and had to save his ass, and he got fed up and told him to go back to the castle and play a video game or something.

But that's not the only reason Bandor's a loser.  Check out the way he dresses.  I don't know about the fashion standards on Pollux, but someone should really tell the little twerp that pastel togas, frilly shoulderpads, and a cape really aren't going to help him score with the chicks later on in life.  Then again, maybe it's not the girls he's going to want, running around in short skirts like that...

To top it all off, Prince Bandor has a really whiny voice, and I don't think even puberty is going to help his case much there.  Even Pidge from the Voltron force is more intimidating than Prince Shorty, and that's just sad, because Pidge is even shorter, has glasses a mile thick, and wears a barrette in his hair.  Pidge could probably kick his ass, too.
