Princess Allura

About Allura
Princess Allura is the ruler of Arus, that planet that we here on Doom keep trying to take over.  However, since she's still pretty young, the castle diplomat Coran and her childhood guardian, Nanny, still boss her around.  Originally they tried to keep her from taking over her current position of piloting Blue Lion, but she put her royal foot down and did it anyway, much to the annoyance of everyone here on Doom, who thought Voltron would be out of the picture when Haggar sent Blue Lion's former pilot, Sven, into intensive care.  Actually, I'm surprised he didn't die with what Haggar did to him, but that's magic space medicine for you.  It works miracles.

Allura is a nice girl and everyone on her planet adores her.  Her father, King Alfor, is dead, but he still manages to show up every now and again and screw up our plans.  She talks to her dead father a lot, and also the space mice.  As you can see, she has some issues, but then again, who in a royal family doesn't around these parts?

Anyway, as you might have noticed, Allura is also pretty easy on the eyes.  Prince Lotor is head over heels for this chick, to the point where he makes some, uh, "hasty decisions" if you get my drift, many of which piss off his father King Zarkon and sometimes his wife Queen Merla as well.  But hey, love does goofy things to ya, I suppose.
