The Key of Thundera is a large and ornate golden key with a tassel bearing the Thundercat insignia on one end. It is kept in a box, pictured above, crafted specifically to hold it and keep it safe.
It is unique among the pieces of the Treasure of Thundera in that it has no powers of its own, but it is very important in its own right. This is because it is the only item in the universe that can unlock the secrets of the Book of Omens. The Guardian of the Book of Omens will viciously attack anyone, even the Lord of the Thundercats himself, who seeks to find out the Book's knowledge without it.
