This piece of the Treasure of Thundera dates back to a history so long ago that only the Guardian of the Book of Omens could tell exactly when it came from. It is a symbol of the rule of the Ancient Thundercats, and may even predate the use of the Insignia itself.
The Ancient Flag of Thundera was one of the four relics used to restore New Thundera to its former glory, as told to Lion-O by the Guardian of the Book of Omens. This particular piece, when presented at the twenty-fourth hour, restored the Iron Forest to its glory as a beautiful evergreen woodland.
