Don't let that boyish innocence of his fool you- WilyKat is every bit as naughty as his sister. In this article, second in a three part series on the Thunderkittens of Cat's Lair, we'll show you the scandals inspired by the male half of the Thunder-twins.
It has been suspected for some time that WilyKit and WilyKat are to this day inseparable in some ways, and that despite the fact that they are now adults (albeit looking youthful as ever) they still share all their secrets and scheme together as they always have. When it comes to their love lives, this often takes the form of competition.
WilyKat has always been the quieter of the pair, but that hardly means he can't get into just as much dating mischief- and young WilyKat is apparently out to prove that he is indeed just as crazy as WilyKit. Remember how his sister broke up the long term relationship between fellow Thundercats Bengali and Pumyra?
Not one to be outdone, WilyKat went and seduced the heartbroken Pumyra by showing his sensitive side.
His remark when asked by our interviewer was, "Being that it was my sister that stole her boyfriend, the least I could do is give her a way to get even. Besides, she's hot."
WilyKat's relationship with Pumyra was about as short-lived as his sister's relationship with Bengali. One might suppose that being twins, their attention spans formed to be of similar length in the womb. Soon after the twins dumped their respective Thundercat lovers, they each sought out the lusty affections of an enemy leader, competing both with each other and in a vain attempt to outdo their Lord Lion-O.
While WilyKit was chasing Slythe, WilyKat sweet-talked Luna of the Lunatacs into an interlude with him.
Unfortunately, WilyKat was not as smooth a talker as he thought he was, and he inadvertently insulted the older Luna with an unflattering remark about her age.
Her response was to have Amok beat the tar out of poor WilyKat and toss him into Bragg's Circus Train next to the cell where the hapless circus owner managed to lock himself up. (For more details reference Luna's article.)
This was not the first time Bragg was involved with one of WilyKat's mishaps. In fact it has been rumored that the circus train captain has had an intense and somewhat sleazy interest in the young Thundercat from the beginning. One might recall the time he convinced WilyKat to run away to join the circus with him. Sources say the "invisible oil" Bragg gave the then-underage Thundercat had something in it stronger than the snake oil Bragg is reputed to deal in.
Anyhow, in this more recent incident involving WilyKat and Bragg, the pair conspired to toy with another Lunatac, Alluro, in some kinky games. (Full details of this incident can be found in a previous article involving Alluro.)
WilyKat declined to say too much about the incident, stating only that what he did with the Lunatacs, Bragg, handcuffs, clown makeup, and something or someone going by the name of "Mr. Choo-choo" was only "circus fun" and that "wasn't what it looked like, really."
WilyKat's sister WilyKat scoffed at that statement. "Oh please," she told the Inquirer. "He's just being an attention whore trying to outdo me again."
Perhaps there was something to WilyKit's statement about her brother's craving for attention. Not long after the incident with Bragg and Alluro, Mandora arrested WilyKat for indecent exposure when he flew around the Berbil Village on his spaceboard mooning the innocent robears.
Not long after that, the troubled WilyKat was also seen being licked by a giant beast. The Secret Agent managed to get one exclusive photo of the encounter before WilyKat realized that when he said "eat me" to the beast, the creature intended to take it literally as opposed to the way he meant, and ran for the cave exit.
Shortly after the latest round of scandals broke, Tygra took WilyKat aside to point out that although some of the Thundercats were getting some unfavorable press in the media, that didn't mean he should be going around trying to top them for the front page. Here Tygra can be seen giving him a stern talking-to, courtesy of the Secret Agent.
WilyKat quickly pointed out Tygra's own appearances in the Cheetara and Willa articles, and that resulted in the young Thundercat getting a whip-style spanking. Reportedly he was shouting, "you can't do that to me now that I'm an adult!" quite indignantly, but Tygra only said, "watch me!" with a gleeful cackle. There would have been a photo of that amusing scene, but the agent was spotted and Tygra's whip broke his camera, exposing that roll of film and destroying it.
Snarfer also tried to talk some sense into WilyKat at one point, but the male Thundertwin only laughed at the snarf's lecture and he told him to "kiss his ass." Snarfer pointed out, as we see in this picture from the Secret Agent, that it wasn't his ass facing him, and WilyKat dared him to kiss that instead. Being a wild college kid into experimentation, Snarfer took him up on his offer.
It was inevitable that WilyKat would wind up in real trouble sooner or later with his wild antics, and unfortunately for him, one day Captain Bragg's perversions went a little too far for the Thunderkitten and the encounter left him tied up on the sleazy circus man's train. Apparently Bragg had his way with the Thundercat youth and left to have a drink, and forgot to untie him before heading off to bed for the night.
WilyKat managed to reach his communicator and call Lion-O, but once he saw innocent young WilyKat tied up on the train the Thundercat Lord got some naughty ideas of his own. He teased WilyKat, saying he would let him go if he showed him exactly what he did with Bragg to get him there.
The reporter who witnessed this secret rendezvous from behind a nearby rock (and took this picture from said vantage point) recalled WilyKat letting out a sheepish laugh and saying, "I knew it'd be my turn sooner or later. Was I next on your list?"
Reportedly, Lion-O didn't answer, but instead cut to the chase so to speak. In the interests of good taste, the reporter chose not to take any further pictures of the two youngest Thundercat men indisposed, but did say that it certainly put to rest any notion that WilyKat wasn't as wild as his sister.
