Nocti & Hystalin continued to fight in their mutant forms under Mumm-Ra's illusion of the full moon light. Neither Nocti nor Hystalin could stop each other from continuing the chaos. Just then, The Thundertank rolled in the scene with several laser blasting by Ailura. Ailura was trying to stop her half-sister from continuing any more fighting. Much to her dismay, it was only making Hystalin angrier.

Lion-O quickly got out of the Thundertank and shouted to his wife, "Hystalin stop! You don't know what you're doing!" It did not do anything, and Hystalin tried sweeping the Lord of the ThunderCats away with her tail. Panthro used his nunchukus to create an array of strong chains that could restrain Hystalin. Unfortunately, Hystalin broke the chains like as if they were strands of thread. Later, Hystalin proceeded to where Panthro was tried punching the mighty panther. Panthro jumped out of the way in time, but not in time enough for him to avoid being stepped on by the giant mutant. Panthro died instantly.

Lion-O quickly ran to where Panthro's lifeless and flattened body lay in a giant footprint. Lion-O tried in vain to wake the late Panthro up. Ailura rushed to her late husband's side, and tried every single revival spell that could be used to wake Panthro up. She could not wake him up. Lion-O & Ailura cried silently for their fallen comrade.

Ailura shouted loudly, "Hystalin, look what you have done!!! YOU'VE KILLED MY HUSBAND!!!!!" Ailura used her magic to create a large burst of sunlight, blinding everyone around. The magic burst canceled out Mumm-Ra's illusion. Hystalin screamed loudly and fainted. Later she slowly reverted back to her normal form. Hystalin laid on the ground unconscious.

Ailura screamed again, but later, she kneeled down the ground and cried again. "How could this happen?" She said with tears in her eyes. "How could my husband die?" Nocti, also back to her normal form, told her father and her two aunts about Mumm-Ra. "Mumm-Ra did this?" Lion-O said. "Yes father. He did." Ailura & Krysa stared in amazement. "Muhin killed another!" Krysa said. "His bloodlust must end!" Ailura grew in disgust. "What total bullshit!" Ailura shouted. "My own half-sister made me a widow! She wouldn't control herself! I hate my sister!" Lion-O, Krysa & Nocti looked to Ailura.

Nocti walked to her aunt and said to her, "Mother was not to blame for this Aunt Ailura. It was the fault of Uncle Muhin." Ailura & Krysa wondered how their niece knew about Muhin and asked her. "Mother told me the story about how my grandmother loved a saiyin deserter named Forsef." Nocti said. "She said she was a lovechild that resulted from that affair." Ailura & Krysa were dumbstruck. "Nocti, what your mother said about Forsef is not true." Ailura said. "Your grandmother did not love Forsef, Forsef forced himself upon your  grandmother and forced her to make love to him. It later resulted to your mother's birth." Nocti was surprised. "It can't be. Mother told me the truth!" Nocti shouted. Krysa said to her niece, "Well, when your mother wakes up, ask her about it. See what she says." Nocti said to Krysa, "Fine Aunt Krysa, I will!"

Lion-O, Ailura, Krysa & Nocti prepared to wrap Panthro's body in a fine cloth, so that he could have a proper burial the next day.  It was a grim task that no one wanted to do. "Goodbye my love" Ailura said as she kissed the dead panther on his forehead and continued wrapping the body with the cloth. "Rest in peace."
