Later that night, Hystalin & Nocti were outside, having a mother/daughter moment. They were talking about the current situations.  "Mom, how come you shouted at me?" Nocti asked. "Nocti, I didn't want you to see me like that." Hystalin said to her daughter.  "I was so ashamed." Nocti turned to her mother and began speaking.

"I don't think there is anything to be ashamed of." Nocti said. "So you're a half-saiyin. That doesn't change the person that you are inside." Hystalin shouted out, "Well, how do you know about this?" Nocti looked to her mother again. "I've had experience in this.  Although I'm one fourth saiyin, I know how it feels to have a tail.  My only difference is that my tail shows up only at the full moon."

Hystalin was surprised at this. "I'm sorry. This tail is just so hard to grasp." Hystalin humbled. "By the way, you can have that tail cut off, can you?" Nocti asked. Hystalin pointed out that the tail cannot be cut off at all. "That is so odd. Saiyin's tails are so easy to cut off." Nocti said. By the way, how come you're a half-saiyin, just out of curiosity." Nocti asked.

Hystalin took a deep breath and began to tell her story. "It all started when my mother, Andorra, also your late grandmother told me about the Legend of Forsef." Hystalin said. "A very long time ago, a saiyin deserter came to my home planet of Angelus. His name was Forsef. He met my mother Andorra and fell in love. Eventually, they had a child, a little half-saiyin daughter. That daughter was me."

Nocti wondered, "What happened to Forsef?" "Well Nocti," Hystalin continued, "Forsef was found by a saiyin search force. Andorra hid away from them for fear of her safety and mine. Forsef was taken away. Rumor has it that he was executed for going AWOL." "Are you sure about this?" Nocti asked. "It sounds like you're hiding something." Hystalin quickly responded by saying that it was all true although she was indeed lying through her teeth.

Just then, Mumm-Ra came to the pair. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! So the Black Paladin shamefully appears in public with her tail? What a disgrace!" Mumm-Ra shouted. Nocti walked in front. "Stay away Mumm-Ra! We are in no mood to fight with you!" Nocti shouted out.  "I know you're not in the mood to fight me." Mumm-Ra boasted.  "However, I'm sure you're in a worse mood fighting your own mother!"

After Mumm-Ra said those words, he used his black magic to created an illusion of a full moon. Nocti & Hystalin tried shielding their eyes, but Mumm-Ra was prepared for the defensive move. Mumm-Ra attacked with his black magic and knocked the two flat on the floor. Both Nocti & Hystalin were helpless from the illusion of the full moon.  Nocti tried to look away when her tail grew. There was nothing that could be done to stop Nocti & Hystalin from transforming into their  respective giant mutant forms. "I'll let you two destroy your own planet!" Mumm-Ra gloated. "My job is done for now." Mumm-Ra disappeared.

After about 3 minutes, Nocti & Hystalin were in their respective mutant forms. Nocti was in complete control; however, Hystalin was going berserk. Unable to control herself, Hystalin immediately began destroying the planet. Nocti, still a mutant, tried to stop her mother from bringing Doomsday to New Thundera.
