While Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were conversing with each other, Mumm-Ra appeared in front of them. "I believe you two have something for Mumm-ra!" Mumm-Ra shouted. "Give me the Dragon Balls!" Both Mumm-Ruzzo & Brainchild openly refused. This led to a fight between the three.

Mumm-Ra shot some red lightning to the pair, but Mumm-Ruzzo easily parried the attack and shot Mumm-Ra with with a spell of Holy Power, which was also blocked. Mumm-Ra was angered and attacked again with a Demon's Blaze spell. Brainchild tried jumping in, but Mumm-Ra raised his other hand and shocked Brainchild with his red lightning.  Brainchild fell to the ground and grew angry. This caused the Mind Gem on Brainchild's forehead to glow an eerie shade of red. Then, a single beam of energy was shot at Mumm-Ra.

Meanwhile, Nocti & Devilman soared through the cosmos as the raced to New Thundera. "How long does this last?" Devilman shouted. "It shouldn't last too long, about five more minutes." Nocti shouted. "Remember not to let go, or we'll be lost in the cosmos forever!"  After about five to six minutes, the two made their way to New Thundera.

"Finally! I'm home!" Nocti said. "We've finally made it!" Devilman looked to the horizon. "It's been so long since I've seen this place." Devilman said. Nocti looked onward to where her home could be. However, a faint light show to the northeast caught her eyes.  "Hey, what's going on over there?" Nocti said. "I'm not sure. Do you want to check it out?" Devilman asked. Nocti agreed, and they flew to the northeast.

Meanwhile, back at the Valley of the ThunderCat Statues, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were still fighting with Mumm-Ra. "Give me the Dragon Ball, so I don't have to kill you!" Mumm-Ra shouted as he continued to attack. Brainchild used the Mind Gem to throw a blazing inferno at Mumm-Ra, but it still did not phase the ever living source of evil.  Mumm-Ruzzo emitted a Holy Flames spell on his father, but it still did not do too much damage.
