Back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were still looking for the remaining three Dragon Balls. "One three more to go." Mumm-Ruzzo said. "Where is our next Dragon Ball?" Brainchild looked at his father's tracker and noticed that it pointed to the southeast. "It says that a Dragon Ball is southeast of here." Brainchild said.  "There is a swamp in that area." Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo turned direction and headed southeast.

Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra was sleeping in his casket when the Ancient Spirits of Evil woke him up. "Mumm-Ra!" The Ancient Spirits of Evil bellowed out. Mumm-Ra woke up from his sleep. "What is it, oh Ancient Spirits of Evil?" Mumm-Ra said quietly. "Your son, Mumm-Ruzzo, and his friend Brainchild are searching for New Thundera's Dragon Balls.  "Dragon Balls? What in the name of everything evil are Dragon Balls?" Mumm-Ra said.

"Dragon Balls are 7 orange orbs with red stars." The Ancient Spirits of Evil said. "When all 7 orbs are collected, the Eternal Dragon appears and grants the summoner a single wish. After the wish is made, the orbs scatter and remain hidden for one year. At that time, anyone can gather them and summon the dragon again. Use this opportunity to snatch the Dragon Balls and destroy your enemies once and for all!" Mumm-Ra liked the idea.

At that time, Nocti was still wondering where she stumbled to. From her standpoint, she could not recognize the monoliths around her. The skies were a blood red. "Hmmm... It must be either sunrise or sunset, what are these buildings? I've never seen anything like this." Nocti said to herself.

Just then, she could hear the screams of innocent civilians coming from a few yards from where she was. "What could that be?" Nocti thought. Nocti looked onwards and saw a hideous demon slaughtering several innocent humans. "Mother of all that is holy and sacred!  What is that thing?" Nocti shouted. As she continued seeing innocent humans being devoured by this monster with eight tentacles, red scaly skin and a single yellow bloodshot eye, Nocti readied her cat o' nine tails. "I cannot let the innocent die." Nocti said.

Meanwhile, back on New Thundera, Brainchild & Mumm-Ruzzo were in a large swamp. "The tracker says that the next Dragon Ball is directly below us." Brainchild said. "I'll go after this one." Brainchild lowered himself to the surface. As he descended, the Mind Gem on his forehead began to glow. "The muddy waters and algae parted and revealed the 5-star Dragon Ball. Brainchild retrieved the Dragon Ball and flew upward, allowing the swamp waters to return to its normal state. "Well, here is it." Brainchild said to Mumm-Ruzzo. "Now we have two more Dragon Balls left to find."

Back where Nocti was, she was using her weapon on the monster, and achieved minimum success. It bellowed out a red flame, but Nocti blocked the fire. Nocti then struck its yellow eye and temporarily blinded it. She thought the battle would end quickly, but the monster quickly rejuvenated and regained its sight. Nocti was taken completely by surprise. "How did that thing heal so fast?" Nocti said as she struggled from the demon's grip.

Nocti was about to fall victim to the demon, but was later attacked by another creature. It was hit by what appeared to be a lightning bolt. "What was that?" Nocti thought. She looked to her side and saw someone in the shadows. From its forehead, it threw another lightning bolt. This time, it made the demon lose its grip. Nocti took the opportunity to put a safe distance. Then, the creature from the shadows flew down and tore the demon easily to shreds.

"Uhh.. Thank you for saving me." Nocti said. "What is your name?"  The creature from the shadows revealed itself. "I think you know of me. I am Devilman." Nocti was shocked. "Devilman?! It has been over a year since I've seen you!" Nocti said. "Funny, it was ten years since I have seen you." Devilman said. "Ten years?" Nocti thought out loud. "Yes. The day Miki was kidnapped a second time by the enemies of your world may have been a year ago to you, but it has been ten years for me." Devilman exclaimed. "Well, I was going to my home world, but my aunt was attacked and killed. I tried to do the Cosmic Teleport alone, but I screwed up and ended up here." Nocti said quickly. "Do you have any idea on how I can get back to my world?"
