The sun was beginning to set behind the hills of Third Earth and Lion-o sat on the steps of Cats Lair waiting. Tygra had not come back yet, and Panthjro had come back to the lair ten minutes ago saying that he hadn't found Tygra at the Bridge of Light. This worried all the Thundercats, Tygra had never been gone since sundown before.
Lion-o glanced at the Sword of Omens that was in his hilt at his side. It hadn't given any kind of warning growl, so either Tygra was fine, or he just didn't want to be found. When he looked back up, he smiled and sighed with relief. For walking towards him across the bridge was Tygra.
Lion-o stood up and walked down the steps to greet his friend. Tygra saw him coming and grinned. The pendant that was once upon his forehead was gone now, and instead hung on a chain that was around Tygra's neck and hidden under the tiger's uniform.
"Tygra, where have you been?" Lion-o questioned his friend as soon as Tygra was close enough to hear him.
"I was at the Warrior Maidens Village," Tygra replied, "Wasn't that where I was supposed to be?"
Lion-o smiled.
"No Tygra, you were supposed to be at the Berbil Village. But no matter," Lion-o said as he and Tygra began to go inside, "The others are in the den. We all want to have a talk with you."
Tygra's eye brow arched. If the others were around when he carried out his plan, he'd be caught for sure. He couldn't let that happen.
"Well, actually Lion-o, I want to have a talk with you real quick. In private, if you don't mind.." Tygra said as he stopped walking.
Lion-o turned and looked at Tygra oddly.
"Well, all right.." he agreed, and followed Tygra to the weapons room.
As soon as they were inside, Tygra shut the door, making sure that nobody else had seen him and Lion-o come inside.
"Now, what's this all about Tygra?" Lion-o questioned.
"It's about the sword Lion-o," Tygra said as he reached for his whip, "I'll be taking it now."
"What?!" Lion-o's voice was both shocked and surprised.
Tygra smiled and snapped his whip on the ground, the bolo's on the end making impact with the floor let out a smok screen. Lion-o's eyes water, and he couldn't see a thing. Before her knew what hit him, Tygra pushed Lion-o against the wall and quickly tied his hands behind his back with one of the kitten's extra lasso's, pushed Lion-o to the floor and tied his ankles with the same thing.
When the smoke cleared, Lion-o was on the ground, both his hands and legs bound, Tygra kneeling beside him.
"You know Lion-o," Tygra chuckled as he took the sword out of the hilt, "I really kicked your butt for somebody of my age."
Then Tygra stood up and grabbed a pack from the wall, placing the sword inside, and then placing the pack on his back. Lion-o was to angry and shocked to say anything, he growled at Tygra and strained to get free from his bonds. Tygra just shook his head and knelt down again.
"You are really pathetic, young lord.." he said, and as he got up to leave, the pendant that was hid beneath his uniform slipped out.
Lion-o managed to get a good look at it before Tygra hid it underneath his unifrom once again. As tygra opened the door to go, Lion-o finally managed to yell one thing out at the tiger:
"You traitor! You're going to be sorry for ever doing this!"
Tygra just smiled and shut the door on LIon-o. Out in the hallway, Tygra looked to see if anyone had seen him, and then wrapped his whip around his waist, turning invisible. Nobody in the lair even knew he left.

About 20 minutes later, Lion-o finally managed to get the communicator in the weapons room on. (Don't ask for an explination I couldn't think of one) He heard the voices of the others in the den and sighed with relief that they were there.
"Uh Guys.." he said into the communicator, "I could use a little help here in the weapons room."
"Lion-o..is that where've you've been this whole time, snarf snarf!? You should have been down here a long time ago!" Snarf's voice replied back.
"Well, I'd be there right now, Snarf, but I'm a little tied up at the moment..!!" Lion-o said back.
A few minutes later, Lion-o's hands and ankles were free and the others stood around him waiting for an explination.
"Who did this Lion-o?" Panthro asked crossing his arms.
"You guys aren't going to believe me when I say this..but Tygra did. and he took the sword." Lion-o sighed.
The room grew quiet. All the Thundercats were surprised at what Lion-o had said. Finally, Kat broke the silence.
"Lion-o...are you sure it was Tygra...?" he asked.
Lion-o nodded.
"I'm afraid it was. And he was wearing some kind of strange pendant around his neck. It's hard to think that Tygra could be a traitor." he said sadly.
The room grew silent again. This was a big surprise for the Thundercats, and they weren't really sure how they could handle it.

The entry way to the black pyramid opened slowly, and Mumm-ra glanced up from where he stood watching his cauldron to see who entered. At first, he saw no one as the door closed, but then there was a blue glow and Tygra walked before him, his whip coiled at his side.
Mumm-ra's eyes flashed and a grin crossed his face when he saw the pack on the tigers back. Tygra walked before Mumm-ra and stopped, taking the sword from where he kept it in the pack.
"I have the sword, Master." he said kneeling, "Just as you commanded."
"Very well done, Tygra. I take it that it wasn't that hard getting it away from that kitten?" Mumm-ra said as he gestered for Tygra to place it into one of the stone statues of the ASOE.
"Not at all, my Master." Tygra said as he went over to one of the statues and opened a secret compartment, placing the sword inside, "The kitten was weak, and too trusting. He was easily tied down."
Mumm-ra nodded with approvement as Tygra sealed the compartment, making it where the sword's warning growls could not be heard, and the sword could not go through the stone, unless the statue was opened by Mumm-ra.
"Tygra," Mumm-ra said as the tiger walked back over to him, "You do know that the Thundercats will come to retrieve the sword now, meaning there will be a fight."
"Of course I do. And when they do come, Master, I will make sure that it is the last battle they ever fight again.." Tygra said as both the pendant and his eyes flashed blood red.
