Thundercats Soaps
Parts 90-92
Panthro looked at Vasa with mixed emotions of hurt, betrayal, and anger. He couldn’t believe that the woman he loved knew about his first love. She knew Aline could’ve been save but didn’t make any attempt to warn him or at least one of the past Thundercats. He looked at the rope that was breaking away. If he let her, it’ll make him feel better.
Vasa was sweating tremendously by the heat from the volcano. She was a good hundred feet from the lava, but even at that distance, the heat was immense. She looked back at Panthro and only saw hurt, pain, anger and betrayal on his face. She knew this was the end for her. No way was Panthro going to save her after learning her terrible secret. Vasa looked back at the lava closed her eyes and screamed as the rope finally gave way.
She stops in mid-air. The rope broke for sure, but she hasn’t fallen into the lava. She turned her head back and saw Panthro holding the rope. He began to pull her up.
“Hold tight.” Panthro ordered.
Panthro pulled Vasa out of the volcano. Tiredly, he picked her up and carried her to the tank. There was nothing but silence between them. Vasa wanted to say something but she was too tired and scared to say anything. Just by looking at his face, she can tell he was very angry. Veins were appearing on top of his smooth head. Panthro set Vasa on top of the tank and took off the ropes on her wrist and ankles.
“Panthro?” Vasa spoke in a quiet voice.
“Come on, we have to get to WilyKit and WilyKat.” Panthro said and got in the tank.
Vasa jumped off the front of the tank and got in the seat. The two rode down the mountain to find the twin Thundercats.
*****
WilyKit laid her unconscious brother on the ground. Tears filled her eyes and ran down her face. “Kat, wake up. Come on. You must wake up. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean it.”
WilyKit looked down at the wound and saw blood was still coming out. Kit tore off one of her sleeves and applied pressure around the dagger in the wound in order to slow if not stop the bleeding.
The Thundertank roared as it pulled up to the twins on the ground. When it stopped, Panthro and Vasa jumped out.
“Oh, no,” Vasa gasped seeing her nephew on the ground.
Panthro ran to WilyKat and looked him over.
“You’ve got to help me save him, Panthro,” WilyKit cried. “I can’t lose my brother.”
“Don’t worry, WilyKit. I’m here. We have to get him to the
hospital.” Panthro said and asked. “How long have you been applying pressure?”
“I’m not sure. I didn’t time it.” WilyKit cried.
Panthro noticed that even though WilyKit was applying pressure, blood continue to trickle out. “Okay, we’re going to carefully pick him up. Vasa, get his feet,” Panthro ordered.
The woman nodded and held Kat’s feet and Panthro WilyKat’s upper body. Panthro wished he brought the Thunderstrike and not the Thundertank with him. At the count of three, the two carefully put WilyKat in the backseat of the tank. WilyKit jumped in after the tank helped them set WilyKat on the back seat. WilyKit resume applying pressure and her aunt stayed with her while Panthro got in the front and drove full speed towards the hospital.

“Get out of my way,” Lion-O commanded Erica as he marched towards her. Erica shot her laser gun at Lion-O’s feet.
“I told you not to move,” Erica said and saw everyone else who entered. Her eyes rested on Diana. “Diana, I’m not surprised to find you here.”
“It’s over, Erica. I command you to put down your weapon,” Diana ordered.
While Erica was distracted, Lion-O fired his sword on the gun to knock it out of Erica’s hand. She turns too late to stop him.
“HO!” He shouted firing on Erica’s hand.
Erica screamed in pain and dropped the weapon.
“Surrender now and I won’t hurt you.” Lion-O told her.
Erica knew she was defeated. No way could she take on Lion-O by herself, plus there were four other people to deal with. Oh, if only Diana and Sylvia cooperated, things would’ve been different. She knew if she were captured, she would be severely punished, possibly banished or even death. Erica always wanted the high life. She couldn’t live her life any way else.
Erica reached down and grabbed her gun. Lion-O had the Sword of Omens aimed at her.
“I wouldn’t try it.” Lion-O told her.
A smirk appeared on Erica’s face. “That’s what you think.” She put the gun to her head and fired.
“NO!” Lion-O shouted.
But it was too late. Erica collapsed on the ground and dropped the gun.
Sylvia rushed to her and checked her pulse. “She’s gone.”
Lion-O was quiet for a moment but his thoughts soon turned to Cheetara. He ran to the ledge and looked down at her.
“How’s Cheetara, Lion-O?” Bengali asked as he ran to the ledge too. He gasped as he looked down. “No.”
*****
A medical team was waiting for Panthro when he arrived. He called them on the way. Thankfully, WilyKit and Vasa applied enough pressure to stop the bleeding. As soon as the Thundertank stopped, the medical team of doctors and nurses put WilyKat on a stretcher and rush him to the emergency room. Kit stopped following them when she got to the emergency doors. She had been crying and reliving the moment she stabbed her brother over and over ever since it happened.
“If he dies, it’s my fault.”
Panthro laid a sympathetic hand on WilyKit’s shoulder. “It’s not your fault, WilyKit. It was the evil, vengeful spirit of your mother.”
WilyKit turned and buried herself in Panthro. Panthro hugged her to calm her down.
“I wish I could take it all back,” she cried.
“You can’t, but you can learn from it,” Panthro said.
Kit looked up at Panthro, eyes shining from the tears in her eyes. “I’m sorry, Panthro. I’m sorry for everything I did to you and Aunt Vasa.” She apologized and looked around. “Where is she?”
Panthro looked around and saw Vasa leaving them and walking into the waiting room nearby. “There she is, going into the waiting room.”
WilyKit pulled away from Panthro. “I’ll be back. If the doctor—“
“I’ll come and get you,” Panthro said.
“Thanks,” she said and left to go in the waiting room.
The waiting was empty of people but full with couches, chairs, coffee tables with magazines on them, a vending machine full with snacks and a coffer machine. Kit saw her aunt get some coffer out of the coffee machine and walk to the window.
“Aunt Vasa?”
Vasa turned to Kit. “WilyKit, any word on your brother?”
“No, not yet.” Kit said talking a seat on the couch. “I want to apologize for everything I did, kidnapping you, tell Panthro about your past.”
“No, WilyKit, you had every right to tell Panthro about me and capturing me. I lied to you and I deserved what happened to me.”
WilyKit shook her head. “No, you didn’t. You were right. My parents weren’t going to change. They were evil people, especially my mother. Her only goodness was when she loved Kat and I, but even that was tainted with evil. She wanted us to follow in her and my father footsteps.” WilyKit explained to her aunt and suddenly smiled. “On the good side, what I said didn’t bother Panthro. He saved you so he still loves you.”
“He saved me because he’s a Thundercat. It would be against the Code of Thundera if he let me die like that. Thundercats aren’t allowed to let their personal feelings cloud their judgment. You told me that yourself.” Vasa explained to her niece. She looked down at her hot coffee. “Our relationship is over.”
*****
Cheetara laid on her back. A strange faint yellow glow was around her body. She was unconscious. Lion-O could fly down there, holding the Sword of Omens, but in the condition she was in he would need to hold her with both hands.
“I need some rope!” Lion-O shouted.
Diana immediately left and Bengali followed her. Sarah went to the ledge and saw Cheetara’s form.
“Cheetara! Can you here me?!” Lion-O shouted.
Cheetara remained unconscious.
“Cheetara!” Lion-O shouted again.
“Wake up!” The obstetrician shouted.
The loud voices from above seem to awaken the cheetah. She stirred a little.
Lion-O gasped. “NO! Don’t move! Cheetara, don’t move!”
Cheetara moaned and moved a little. Her body was halfway on over the ledge.
“NO! Don’t!” Lion-O shouted.
“Don’t move!” Sarah shouted.
Cheetara slipped back to unconsciousness again and the faint glow around her faded.
Diana and Bengali entered with some rope. Lion-O tied the thick rope around his waist. He then jumped on the edge.
“I want you to lower me down slowly,” Lion-O instructed Bengali. The Siberian tiger nodded. He slowly begins to lower Lion-O down. “Stop!” Lion-O shouted once he was in front of Cheetara.
“Cheetara can you hear me?” Lion-O asked.
The cheetah didn’t say anything. The Lord of the ThunderCats eyes widen in horror when he saw blood running from Cheetara’s legs. He quickly scooped the pregnant cheetah in his arms. “Pull us up!” Lion-O instructed Bengali.
Bengali felt the extra weight and begin to pull up. Sarah joined to help Bengali. When Diana saw a glimpse of Lion-O’s hair, she rushed over to help me off the edge. Everyone gasped when they saw the blood running from Cheetara’s legs.
A dazed Cheetara opened her eyes. She faintly sees Lion-O’s worried expression. “Lion-O ….the baby,” she passed out again.
“I’ll get my supplies. You take Cheetara to her room.” Sarah instructed and raced out of the tower.
Lion-O and Bengali rushed Cheetara to her room. Alone, Diana looked down at Sylvia tending to Erica’s lifeless body.
“We should take care of her. She will be given burial, and even though she escape my severe punishment, may she suffer and pay for her sins wherever she is,” Diana said and helped her sister carried out of the tower.
Sarah raced to the Feliner. She went to a storage room where some of the luggage are kept and pulled out some of the medical supplies she brought with her. The doctor heard a thump in Cheetara’s room. Could there be an intruder on the Feliner? Slowly, she opens the door.
“Tygra,” she gasped. “What are you doing here?”
“What are you doing here?” He shot the question back, while in his mind trying to think of something. Maybe he’ll have to kill her. No, too many questions would erupt. He’ll have to think of something else.
Sarah stepped back and begin to run away. Tygra easily caught up with her since she was weighed down with the supplies she was carrying.
Tygra grabbed her. He saw the medical materials. “Why the supplies? What’s going on?” His thoughts suddenly centered on Cheetara. “Cheetara. What happened to her?”
Sarah didn’t answer.
Tygra shook her. “Tell me! What happened to Cheetara?!”
Scared for her life, the obstetrician spilled. “Cheetara was pushed off the castle, but Lion-O rescued her. “She’s been hurt. Now, let me go. I must tend to her and her child.”
Tygra stood shock. Right now, he cursed himself. All this was his fault. He never meant to hurt Cheetara, but he did. What have I done?
*****
In the emergency room, WilyKat was hooked to oxygen mask to help his breathing, a blood pressure monitor and a heart monitor. The doctors were able to get the dagger out as safely as they could, but blood began to spurt out when that was done. The cut was deep in WilyKat. They had stopped the bleeding and were working on fixing the wound when things went from bad to worse. The heart monitor was beeping erratically and the blood pressure monitor signaled danger too.
“BP 100/40!” A nurse shouted.
“Heart rate’s dropping!” Another nurse informed the doctors.
As the doctors and nurses worked quickly to save WilyKat, something else got their attention. The heart monitor suddenly went flat line.
“Quick! Get the defibrillators!” A doctor ordered.
Nurses rush him with the defibrillators. One of them put gel on it and handed it to the doctor. The doctor then rubbed the paddles together. He then put them on WilyKat’s chest.
“Clear!” He shouted.
A bolt of electricity shot through WilyKat. WilyKat’s body jumped up at the shock. The heart monitor was still flat line. The doctor had them increased the power. The doctor rubbed the paddles together again.
“Clear!” He shouted and put the paddles on WilyKat’s chest.
Kat’s body jumped up and fell back on the exam table. The heart monitor was still flat line.
“Come on, WilyKat. We can’t lose you. Give him a shot of epinephrine and increase power to the defibrillator.”
One nurse immediately gave WilyKat the shot while the other increased the power up another notch.
“Clear!” The doctor shouted and put the paddles on the Thundercat’s chest. This time he got a heart rate. The doctor let out a sigh of relief. He put the paddles on the defibrillator and resumed surgery.

WilyKit stared at her aunt in disbelief. “You can’t be serious. You and Panthro broke up? That can’t be true.”
“It’s true, WilyKit, and it’s my fault. He doesn’t trust or love me anymore because of Aline and I deserved it.”
WilyKit stood up and walked to her aunt. “If anything, it’s my fault. I shouldn’t have said anything but I was so angry and out of control. I’ll talk to him, Aunt Vasa. I’ll talk to Panthro and get through him.”
“No, Kit.” Vasa said sternly. “I’ll talk to him. This is really between him and me. I don’t want you to get involve.”
“But I want to help.”
“I know you do, but this is something he and I should talk about…if he let me. He’s been avoiding me, but I’ll get him to talk.”
“There must be something I can do. I feel so guilty about what I said.”
“No, there isn’t anything you can do. Only –“ Vasa words were cut off when Panthro entered the room.
WilyKit turned around. “Panthro. What is it?”
“The doctor wants to talk to us.” Panthro said.
WilyKit got a bad feeling in her stomach. Her aunt laid a hand on her shoulder giving her support and the two left the room with Panthro to see the doctor.
*****
Lion-O and Bengali laid Cheetara back on the bed. As they were getting her comfortable, Cheetara slowly stirred awake again. Bengali watched quietly and looked at the cheetah’s legs. He wasn’t a medical expert but he knew something was wrong. He began to wonder what was taking her doctor so long to return.
“Cheetara?” Lion-O said and hugged the pregnant cheetah. “I’m so glad you’re all right.”
Cheetara energy was slow. She then remembers what happened. “I fell. Lion-O, our child? What about our child?” She looked down and saw blood on her legs. “No! My baby! I lost it!”
Lion-O held her close. “No, don’t say that. We’re not sure. You’re just bleeding around your legs.”
Fear the worse has happened, Cheetara begin crying. Sarah entered the room with her medical bag, looking very disturbed. “I have my medical bag so I can check more closely and fix Cheetara’s injuries, but someone else wants to assist.”
“Who, Sylvia?” Lion-O asked.
“No,” Sarah said quietly and stepped aside. Tygra entered.
“Tygra!” Lion-O growled. He rushed to the tiger and picked him off the ground.
“There’s no way you’re touching me,” Cheetara said.
“How did you get here anyway?” Bengali asked just as angry as Lion-O.
“I hid in the Feliner in one of the storage rooms.”
“I’m sorry to interrupt but I need to examine Cheetara,” Sarah said.
Lion-O dropped Tygra. “Get him out of here, Bengali, tie him up, and lock him in the Feliner. I don’t want that traitor anywhere near me, my wife, or our child.”
Bengali nodded following orders. He grabbed the tiger, put his arms behind his back and taken him out of the room.
*****
“How’s my brother?” WilyKit asked.
“It was a close call. WilyKat’s heart did stop but we were able to revive him and fix the wound. However, during surgery, he slipped into a slight coma. We’re not sure how long he will be in it.” The doctor explains.
“May I see my brother?” WilyKit requested.
“Yes, but not too long.” The doctor said and walked with Kit to WilyKat’s room.
WilyKit quietly opened the door. When she saw her brother, she started to cry again. WilyKat laid on the bed hooked to an IV, an oxygen mask and heart monitor. He was in a hospital gown. She could faintly see a large bandage wrapped around his abdomen under the gown. Besides being hooked up to the machines, he looked as if he was sleeping. WilyKit pulled up a chair and sat down. She picked up her brother’s hand.
“WilyKat, can you here me?” His sister asked softly. “I’m so sorry. I wasn’t thinking. I was so crazy and mad for revenge that I wasn’t thinking straight. You were right.” She admitted and then laughed a little. “If you heard me tell you, you were right, I’ll never hear the end of it, but I don’t mind this time. Panthro wasn’t the bad guy. Our parents were. Panthro helped us but I didn’t want to believe it. I wanted vengeance and look what happened. Look at what I did. I nearly killed my brother, the person I love most in the world.” WilyKit started to cry again and wiped the tears from her face.
“You have to wake up, WilyKat. I need you. I need my brother.”
*****
Panthro and Vasa sat quietly in the waiting room. Panthro sat on the other side of the room reading a magazine while Vasa sat on the other side staring at him. She knew he was avoiding her and didn’t want to talk to her. If they were going to have a conversation, she knew she had to make the first move.
“Panthro?”
Panthro didn’t respond.
“Panthro?”
Panthro turned a page from his magazine and kept reading.
Frustrated, Vasa got up and walked to Panthro. She pulled the magazine out of Panthro’s hand. “Panthro, we have to talk.”
“About what?” He asked.
“About us. You haven’t said a thing about us ever since WilyKit told you about my secret.”
“What do you want me to say?” Panthro asked.
“Anything,” she threw her hands up. “The silence is killing me.”
“Anything, huh?” Panthro said with an attitude. “Like how I’m disgusted about what you did, what you were? You lied to me!”
“No, I didn’t,” Vasa defended herself and said. “I just didn’t tell you.”
Panthro stood up. “That still counts as a lie to me. You didn’t tell me what you did for Rataro, that you knew about Aline. That is a lie to me! She could’ve been saved, but you didn’t do anything. By Thundera, you were Rataro’s concubine, to put it nicely!” He growled angrily. “And to think I thought I knew you. You’re not the woman I loved. You’re not the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. It’s over!” Panthro turned away and started walking out.
Vasa was startled by the last words. “Panthro, were you considering…”
“Not anymore I’m not, and it’s the best thing that has happened to me, finding out what type of woman you are,” he said bitterly and slammed the door on his way out.
*****
Sarah ran a thorough examine on the cheetah. She had a portable sonogram machine, which gave a healthy back and white picture of the baby, blood pressure monitor and heart monitor which was both higher than it should be for a pregnant woman. She fixed the bleeding at its source, Cheetara’s leg and not at her abdomen where everyone feared. She pulled off her plastic gloves and tossed them in the trash.
“I’ve healed the wounds around your legs, Cheetara. The bleeding had to occur when your legs hit the concrete walls. It didn’t affect the baby. The baby heart rate is normal, but I think it should be watched. However your blood pressure and heart rate are too high as well. We should keep an extra eye on you until it’s at the normal weight for a woman in your condition. That was a big fall. You should be more injured. I just don’t get it.”
“When I fell, I fell backwards. I summoned my telekinetic powers at the last moment. I knew I shouldn’t have because I risk harming my child, but if I didn’t do anything, I would’ve been hurt even more than just some soreness I feel. I had no choice. The last thing I remembered was hitting the ledge on my back, but it didn’t hurt as much with powers protecting me.” Cheetara explained and looked at her stomach. “So my child is all right?”
“I think it’s best that I observed you over night before I give a direct answer, although everything seems fine.”
“You can observe me tomorrow morning. We should be near Thundera by then.” Everyone looked at the cheetah confused. “I want to leave tonight.”
“Tonight? Are you sure?” Lion-O asked.
Cheetara looked at her husband. “Lion-O, I left New Thundera nine months pregnant to find you and now that I have, I want to go home and have our baby.”
Lion-O saw the determined look on her face. He knew she wasn’t going take any other suggestions. “All right. We’ll leave tonight.” He said reluctantly.
At this moment, Diana and Sylvia entered. Sylvia had something behind her back.
“Oh, I’m sorry. We’ll come back later.” Diana said.
Lion-O and Cheetara broke apart. “Oh, no. That’ s fine.” Lion-O and looked back at his wife. “I guess you haven’t been formally introduce. “Cheetara, this Diana, Queen of Minerva.”
Diana walked over to shake Cheetara’s hand. “Hello. It’s nice to meet you.” She smiled friendly to the Lady of the Thundercats. So that’s Lion-O’s wife. She’s beautiful. I wouldn’t have stood a chance. “My sister has something to say and I’m deeply sorry for what happened. Had I known Lion-O’s true identity, I would have made sure he’d gotten home sooner.”
“True identity?” Cheetara said confused and looked at Lion-O.
“I’ll explain later.” Lion-O told her.
“Lion-O, I’m deeply sorry for my part in this and I want to make it up to you by first giving you this,” Sylvia said and pulled out what was behind her back, Lion-O’s claw shield. As she handed it back to him, she said, “I don’t know how you got your sword but I know it was in the shield.”
“We should really go,” Diana said.
“We are leaving as well sometime tonight. I want to have my baby at our home, and frankly, I’m tired.”
“Tired? I can’t imagine why. All you did was fly thousands of miles, nine months pregnant to find your husband and to top it off you were pushed off the tallest tower in a castle. Tired I can’t imagine why.” Lion-O teased and kissed Cheetara on her left temple.
“I guess my energy was in full drive to find you and now that I have, I can finally relax and all I want to do now is rest, sleep and have my baby.” Cheetara and remembered something. “By the way, Lion-O, I have something for you. If I may have your hand.”
Lion-O, not knowing Cheetara was planning gave Cheetara his hand. Cheetara reached in the pocket of her maternity dress and pulled out Lion-O’s wedding ring. She placed it on his finger.
“You found it,” Lion-O said surprised.
“Yes. In Erica’s room before she found me, which I will explain later.” Cheetara said and looked at Lion-O, wanting an explanation from him, too.
Lion-O looked in Cheetara’s eyes and understood what she was feeling. He leaned in to kiss her to show her that she would understand when he explains it to her.
Bengali whispered something in Sarah’s ear and she nodded.
“I think we better go.” Bengali said. “I have to warm up the Feliner anyway and gather our things so we can leave. It’s going to be a long trip back.
“I’ll ride up front to keep you company,” Sarah suggested.
Bengali nodded and left. Sylvia and Diana followed them out. Bengali and Sarah left to pack and prepare for departure. When they were out of hearing distance, Sylvia spoke.
“You really cared for him, didn’t you?”
Diana rubbed her arms. “I did, but I think it was more infatuation than anything else. I thought that because I was ruler of a planet, I wouldn’t have time for caring for another, that it wasn’t important but with Lion-O I learned that I could and he helped me realized that of course he didn’t know it. I also think it’s time we open and share our knowledge with other planets and there’s with ours. If we were more opened and went to Interstellar meetings we would’ve known about Lion-O and all of this could’ve been avoided.”
“That sounds like a good idea,” Her sister agreed.
“I think it is, and I’m doing something I should’ve done a long time ago. I want you to be my advisor. It should’ve been that way from the beginning.”
Sylvia was in awe. “Diana, I’m honored. I promise not to let you down.”
“I know you won’t, sister,” Diana said and hugged her sister.
The following morning on Thundera was a quiet one. WilyKat’s condition was stable even though he was in a coma. WilyKit stayed with her brother all night. Panthro didn’t come in. HE went home to tell Snarf what was going on, and although the Snarf wanted to come back with Panthro, Panthro told him to stay home in case Bengali contact them. It was now late morning when Panthro entered the infirmary. He shook Kit’s shoulder gently to wake her up.
WilyKit’s eyes fluttered. “Panthro?”
“Good morning, Kit.” He said and handed her a cup of coffee.
WilyKit took it and drunk some. “Thanks. Where’s Aunt Vasa?”
“Somewhere. I don’t know. I went back home to fill in Snarf on what happened. He tried getting in contact with the Feliner but no one is answering. We can thank Tygra for that. He sabotaged our communications. He’s left with tem on the Feliner secretly,” Panthro said and sighed. “I just hope Cheetara and the others find Lion-O.” Panthro said and realized WilyKit didn’t know what he was talking about. “Oh, that’s right you don’t know.”
“I know enough, Panthro,” she said in a whisper. “They won’t find Lion-O, Panthro. He’s dead.”
*****
Lion-O and Cheetara slept cuddled close to each other in the room built for Cheetara on the Feliner. They left Minerva late at night and fell asleep as Bengali flew back. Tygra was in the cockpit tied up. Sarah sat in co-pilot seat, just talking to Bengali to keep him company on the way back, while every once in a while checking the cheetah’s condition. Although the cheetah wasn’t showing any signs of problems, the obstetrician was worried about the fall Cheetara suffered and what possible effects it may have on her last week of pregnancy. It could cause Cheetara to go into labor early or there could be something wrong with the unborn cub that won’t be detected until it was too late.
In their room, Lion-O awakened first. He stared at Cheetara as she slept. A piece of her blonde hair fell forward on her face. He gently pushed the blonde strand behind her ear. So long he has been without his wife and their unborn child. He was determined to make sure he wouldn’t be separated from his wife again. The Lord of the Thundercats placed a hand on his wife’s bulging stomach and rubbed it.
“Daddy’s back, little one and he’s never leaving you or mommy again.”
The baby must have understood Lion-O because it kicked. Lion-O smiled thoughtfully. Cheetara slowly stirred awaken by her child’s kicking. She propped an elbow up to hold up her head.
“This is how it should be. You being the first person I see each morning instead of a empty spot on the bed.”
“That’s how it will always be.” Lion-O said and kissed Cheetara. “Good morning.”
“Good morning yourself,” Cheetara said. Noticing that they were alone, Cheetara decided to ask her husband something that has been nagging at her since she found him. “While we have this time alone, maybe you can explain to me why you never tried to contact me on Thundera.”
“I was ambushed on the Feliner. When I came too, I was held by two mutants and drained of my energy, drugged I guess. I saw Tygra and he beaten me badly with a crowbar. I was knocked unconscious and when I awakened, I was on Minerva with no memory. Diana, Sylvia and Erica told me that I was found in a capsule, left for that. I’ve been staying with them and I only regain my memory not long ago. Erica must have taken my ring and hid it while Sylvia hid my Sword of Omens and claw shield, and when I regain my memory I tried to leave but I was captured by Erica and Sylvia with Thundrainium bullets and releasing it in the air.” Lion-O explained.
“You lost your memory for two months,” Cheetara said and touched his head. “That does explain a lot.” Cheetara said taking it all in. “My love, I didn’t know. I sense you were confused and I had a vision of you on Minerva. All I knew was that you were in danger and I had to get to you.” Cheetara said and smiled. “Well, that’s all in the past now. We are reunited again and it feels so good.” The cheetah eyed her husband with intense emotion.
Lion-O noticed that look in the cheetah’s eyes before. It was her tempting look. He could tell that she missed him a lot in the past two months and even though his memory was lost during that time, he missed her too, a lot. Lion-O moved closer to Cheetara and covered her mouth with his lips. Their kisses grew deeper and heavier. He was about to move on her but stopped.
“We better stop before things go to far,” Lion-O said breathing heavily.
Cheetara nodded breathing just as heavy. “I have to use the bathroom anyway.”
“Pregnancy does that,” Lion-O said getting out of bed and walking to Cheetara’s side. He took her hands and helped her out of bed.
“Yeah, like you’ve been through that,” Cheetara replied innocently teasing Lion-O. “Whoa!” Cheetara cried out as she slipped.
Lion-O caught her. “Are you all right?”
“Yes, I think so,” Cheetara answered placing a hand on her. “I guess I got a little dizzy getting out of bed.”
Lion-O looked more concern than Cheetara was. He wondered if it had anything to do with last night. He closed the door on Cheetara once she entered the bathroom.
“I hope everything is all right.”
*****
Panthro looked at WilyKit confused. “Lion-O’s not dead, WilyKit. What makes you think he is?”
“When I was returning to New Thundera, I was with Tygra. The ship we were in stopped. I left my room and I saw Tygra and some mutants getting ready to deplore from the ship. I saw Tygra holding a crowbar in his hand. He didn’t say what he was doing but it too late when I realized he was going to kill Lion-O. Why do you say he isn’t dead?” WilyKit asked.
“Cheetara had a vision about Lion-O. She found out where she was and she, Bengali, and her doctor went to rescue him,” Panthro explained.
“Lion-O’s alive then. That’s wonderful,” WilyKit said happily and relieved. The Thundercat decided to switch to a more personal subject. “So, how are things with you and my aunt?”
Panthro walked closer to the bed to look at WilyKat. “Has his condition changed?”
“Don’t change the subject on me, Panthro. Did I ruin your relationship with her? If I did, I am sorry.”
“It just wasn’t meant to be, Kit. There is no need to blame yourself.” He sighed. “I don’t want to talk about this anymore. I just came to check on WilyKat.”
“If you want me to leave so you can talk to him, then I will.”
“There’s no need for that, Kit.” Panthro said and begin forming his words together. “WilyKat, I want you to pull out of this. I know you’re can. You’re a Thundercat. You’re tough. All of us are pulling for you. You and your sister are like children to me. I don’t want to lose someone who’s been like a son to me.” Panthro spoke softly. His tough exterior took over. “I’ll be back at the lair. If anything happens contact me.” He told her and left.
When Panthro let, WilyKit took hold of her brother’s hand. “Panthro’s right. You’ve got to pull through. We came in this world together and even though we won’t go together, it’s not suppose to end like this. I need you, brother.”
WilyKat slowly squeezed his sister’s hand. His eyes slowly opened. He saw his sister staring at him in shock and happiness. “Kit?” He said weakly.
“Kat?” WilyKit asked in disbelief.
WilyKat looked his sister over. Her mascara stained her face; some of his blood was on her clothes and hands. Her hair was a complete mess, all disheveled and out of place. She looked a complete mess but she was smiling nonetheless.
“You look terrible,” he said weakly.
Kit ignored her comment and enthusiastically hugged her brother. “Oh, Kat. I’m so glad you’re alive.”
“If you’re so glad, then why are you hurting me?”
WilyKit saw that she was cutting off Kat’s oxygen supply. She pulled back. “Sorry. I’m just glad you’re alive. I’m going to go get the doctor.” Kit said and left the room in a rush.

Cheetara stood at the sink washing her hands. In a few hours she would be home and fully able to rest and relax in her own bed. She was tired and uncomfortable. Other than her physical feelings, she was happy. Lion-O was with her now. He was alive and well. Her sleepless nights of worry were now over. The cheetah turned the faucet off and was about to go back out when she felt something. It was odd. She never felt it before. Unexpectedly, she felt something slick and slimy running down her legs. She looked down and gasped.
“Oh, no.”
Lion-O was in the bedroom, thinking about Cheetara. He thought it was best that he talked to her doctor. He was headed out the door when he heard her.
“Lion-O!”
Lion-O immediately burst into the room. “Cheetara, what’s wrong?”
“My water just broke.”
