Lion-O knew what had to be done. Even though he wanted to get back to Thundera and fight Mumm-Ra, he knew that his first priority was to get to back to Tokyo and helped the Thundercats and Sailor Scouts fight Jedite. Jedite was winning the battle so far. Sailor Venus Love Chains were wrapped around her, Panthro nunchuks encircled him, and Sailor Jupiter was unconscious. The only ones standing were Sailor Mars and Tygra, who appeared missing.

"Give up. You're no match for me." Jedite said.

"Mars Celestial Fire Surround!" Sailor Mars shot her fire power at Jedite.

Jedite tried to move but couldn't Something or someone was holding him. Mars Celestial fire hit Jedite and Tygra became visible and jumped out of the way just in time. Jedite was thrown back 20 feet. He got back up angrier than ever and smoky. "You'll pay for that."

"HO!" Lion-O's sword blasted its lighting power at Jedite.

Tygra, Panthro, and the conscious Sailor Scouts turned to see their comrades return to help them with the battle. Cheetara, Bengali, and Sailor Mercury went to helped their friends.

"Thought you could trap us, huh? Well, you're the one whose trapped. I'm Sailor Moon-"

"Cut the stupid speech and let's get to it." Jedite said and projected his power at the group.

Everyone dodged out of the way and Sailor Moon pulled out her scepter. "Moon Scepter Elimination!" Her moon scepter fired back at Jedite's power but with both of them aiming their power at each other, it seem to be at an even standoff.

"Everyone, combine your powers." Lion-O said and aimed his sword at Jedite. "HO!"

All the Thundercats fired all the power they had in their weapons at Jedite and the Sailor Scouts shot all their powers on Jedite. Jedite's powers wasn't enough to handle both the Thundercats and Sailor Scouts. He began to weaken and fell to his knees in defeat.

"It's over Jedite." Sailor Moon said.

The Ancient Spirits of Evil appeared above Jedite in a holographic form. "You have failed, Jedite, and for that you shall be punished." The Ancient Spirits of Evil voice boomed over Jedite. Their eyes glowed and they shot their eye beams at Jedite and he vaporized in seconds. With Jedite destroyed, the Ancient Spirits of Evil vanished.

"No! Jedite was our only way back home. We're stuck here and we have to get back to Thundera." Lion-O said.

"What's going on at home, Lion-O?" Tygra asked.

"Mumm-Ra's taken over Thundera and the Mutants and Lunataks have taken over 3rd Earth." Lion-O answered.

"Well, maybe we can help." Sailor Mercury offered. "If I can figure out a way to build a time portal from my computer and if I had a knowledge of your technology, then I can make a portal device."

"Tygra, Panthro, and I have expertise in technology, too. We can help." Bengali said.

Sailor Mars looked around and notice the people coming out from hiding and the army and reporters were all looking at them with their cameras on. "We better go. We are definitely causing a lot of attention. My grandpa and Chad are out of the country, trying to promote more visitors to the temple. They'll be gone for a while so you guys can stay with me until you can go home. It's out of the city, quiet, and no one will know that you're hear."

"We accept your hospitality and thank you." Lion-O said speaking for the rest of the Thundercats.

Amy, Panthro, Bengali, and Tygra have been working hard together on building a portal device for the past two weeks. They built models but none of them worked completely yet. Not being expertise in technology, Lion-O and Cheetara have been going to the city in disguise with Serena and Darien observing the people and different cultures on earth. Darien and Serena sat at a food court in the mall as they watched Lion-O and Cheetara look in the windows of the mini stores.

"Earth people certainly have a different style of clothing than us." Cheetara said as she look at the different styles of clothes in the window.

"They do, but it's nice." Lion-O's voice sounded like he was a thousand miles away.

"You're thinking about everyone on Thundera and 3rd Earth, aren't you?" Cheetara asked.

"I can't do anything else but think about them. We're marooned here and Mumm-Ra, the mutants, and lunataks are harming our friends who need us right now." Lion-O said frustrated.

"I know how you feel, but you mustn't think about it too much or it'll drive you crazy with worry and anger. We have to work our minds off it for a while. Tygra, Panthro, Bengali, and Amy are working as fast as they can." Cheetara told him.

Lion-O pulled Cheetara to hug him, to relieve some of his worries and stress. "You're right. You're always right." He pulled back to look in her eyes. He was about to kiss her but stopped when he realized what he was doing. "Let's get back to Serena and Darien." He told Cheetara and for a second thought her eyes looked a little disappointed.

WilyKit, WilyKat, Snarf, and Snarfer sat trapped in a secret room hidden deep below Cats Lair. After Mumm-Ra attacked, they had no choice but to retreat. They tried to leave Cats Lair but with the strong blows Mumm-Ra hit the lair with using the Sword of Plundarr, they couldn't. The lair was crashing down and they had to go underground in the lair instead of raising the risk of getting hit by fallings beams, walls, ceilings and even mechanical equipment if they had tried to leave the lair.

WilyKat ran to the door in order to knock it down. It didn't bulge. "This is hopeless, Kit. We should have tried leaving the lair instead of coming down here."

"And get hit by falling beams, caved in ceilings and walls? I don't think so. It's better that we stay here." Kit told her brother.

"Snarf. Where's Lion-O? He and the other Thundercats should have been back by now." Snarf said worried.

"Mumm-Ra probably set a trap for them as well and they probably can't get back." Snarfer said.

"They better hurry back soon. We're stuck in here, and we're starting to lose air. I think part of the cave in caused our air to be cut off." WilyKat said and begin hitting the door again in an attempt to knock it down.

Amy, Panthro, Bengali, and Tygra have been getting better on the portal. They concluded that they would finish tonight. While waiting for the mechanic experts of both teams to complete the portal and for the other Sailor Scouts to arrive, Lion-O and Cheetara went outside in the snow that fell earlier. They sat on the porch observing the snow and peacefulness of the temple. It was quiet for a while before Lion-O spoke.

"I remember when Snarf and I would have snowball fights when I was a kid. He would always get mad when I hit him with a ball of snow. He said he hated the wet snow in his fur. Now, as an adult, I don't have the love of snow or snowball fights as I did when I was a kid. Does that happen when we become adults? You don't have any interest of things you did as a child?" Lion-O asked. There was no answer. "Cheetara?" He looked to his left, where Cheetara was sitting and a snowball hit him in the face. He wiped the snow from his face and saw Cheetara laughing.

"Only to the dull ones." She answered laughing.

Lion-O picked up a snowball and he threw it at her. She dodged. He gave her a crooked smile and began chasing her in the snow. Cheetara laughed and dodged Lion-O snowballs. He was catching up with Cheetara so she decided to pick up the speed, but didn't notice a slip of ice in her way. She slipped on the ice and was losing her balance until Lion-O grab her by the waist to hold Cheetara steady. He began to lose his balance as his feet touch the ice and they both fell on their backs. They looked at each other and started laughing.

"I wish I saw that ice." Cheetara said as she sat up. She shivered and pull the hood of her jacket over her head. "That snow is so cold. I'm freezing."

"I can recommend body heat to warm you up." Lion-o said in an enticing tone.

Cheetara laughed at Lion-O's attempt to flirt with her and decided to play along. "And how do you plan on doing that?" She said as she moved closer to him.

"Well, I could..."

"Yeah..." She said as she moved closer to him

Too involved with themselves, they didn't notice they were sitting under a gutter with a large pile of snow ready to fall. As they were about to kiss, the snow fell on them, ruining the moment. Cheetara shook the snow off and got up laughing, realizing what happened. Lion-O got off and dust the snow of too while Cheetara pick some snow strands out of his hair.

"Can't win, huh?" lion-O asked.

"Nope." Cheetara laughed as she took his hand and walked back in the temple. They went into the living room, took off their wet jackets, and sat in front of the fireplace to warm up. The room was quiet again and Lion-O decided to open the conversation again.

"When Jedite told me Tuxedo Mask was going to make you his love slave, I was so mad and furious that all I could think about was throttling Tuxedo Mask for what I thought he was doing to you." Lion-O admitted.

"You were that worried about me?" Cheetara said surprised

"Of course I was I-" He stopped himself.

"Because you love me like I love you." Cheetara said as she placed her hand over his.

"I never felt this way before so I don't how to say it, but yes, I do." He admitted. "Hopefully, we won't get interrupted now." He smiled and kissed her.

The Sailor Scouts came in and stopped when they saw what they were walking into. Panthro, Tygra, Bengali, and Amy came out of the room they were working in and stopped. Cheetara opened her eyes and pulled away.

"I think the others know."

"What?" Lion-O said confused and turned around to see everyone looking at them. "Oh."

"We suspected that this would happen sooner or later." Panthro said.

"We have the portal ready. So we can leave now...that is, if you two are ready." Tygra said holding back a smile.

"We're ready." Lion-O said.

"And we are, too." Serena said.

"No, Serena. Mumm-Ra, the Mutants and Lunataks are too dangerous." Cheetara said.

"So we've faced danger with our enemies. We can handle them. Besides, you helped us defeat Jedite. The least we can do is help defeat your enemies. You need the extra help." Serena pointed out.

The Thundercats got in a group to discuss what they should do. Everyone nodded at the decision. "All right, but you must know that the scouts will not work together. We will split up to help our friends on Thundera and 3rd Earth." Lion-O told them.

Serena nodded. "We understand. Sailor Scout transformed." Serena commanded.

After the Sailor Scouts and Darien transformed, Tygra open the portal and everyone stepped in the portal. On the other side of the portal was Thundera and the Thundercats gasped at what they saw. Thundera was in ruins. It looked worse than it did before it blew up years ago. Buildings and homes that were built a year ago, looked like they were hit by a meteor and a major earthquake combined. The Thundercats couldn't see if anyone was around probably because they were either dead or hidden in underground tunnels that were built for an invasion. The skies were darkening a deep red as if it were over Mumm-Ra's pyramid and lightning clashed every five minutes.

"This is terrible." Lion-O murmured.

"By Thundera, Kit, Kat, Snarf and Snarfer. We've got to get to Cat's Lair and find them." Cheetara said worried.

They only walked a few feet before they saw Cat's Lair. Cat's Lair was built to sustain natural disasters, but it wasn't strong enough to handle Mumm-Ra's destruction. Cat's Lair barely stood in shambles. The outer structure was damaged and the lair head hung over with a few beams attached to it. A light breeze blew by and everyone jumped back as the lair head fell down. The body of the lair was slowly caving in and it would eventually fall through. However, WilyKit, WilyKat, Snarf, and Snarfer were no where in site. The Thundercats didn't know if they were in the lair or not, but they knew they had to find them, and that meant going in the nearly destroyed Cat's Lair.
