Leanna sat outside on the steps enjoying the fresh air. Ever since she woke up this morning, she had a very terrible feeling gnawing at her, something wasn’t quite right.
If that was not enough to unnerve her, Lion-o’s behavior towards her was. She had never seen him like this before, she knew he had a temper even if he did get angry he would just walk away, he would never think about raising a hand to her. She looked up and saw Cheetara returning form her run.
“Leanna, what’s wrong” Cheetara asked as she made her way up the stairs.
“I have this feeling that something is wrong with Lion-o, you know what we talked about last night,” Leanna said quietly as Cheetara sat down beside her. Cheetara looked at her and nodded. “Well, he came to my room last night and we made up”.
“And the problem is what,” Cheetara smiled.
“The problem is, that wasn’t my husband who came to me last night, there was no love, no mental connection to our bond and do you know what the strangest part was,” Leanna said looking at her.” I called him Leo and he freaks out ”.
“Leo,” Cheetara smiled.
“Don’t you start, I’m serious, he got mad and demanded to know who this Leo person was”. Leanna said quietly, “When I told him that Leo was him, he said he forgot, now tell me, how can you forget something like that”.
“That is strange indeed, you say there was no connection with your bond,”Cheetara said as she rested her hand on her chin.
“No, there was nothing, I always feel him, especially when we are close, but last night there was nothing, it was as if something was blocking it, I know my mind was clouded from that tea you sent up,” Leanna said shrugging her shoulders.
“Tea, Leanna I never sent up any tea,” Cheetara replied shaking her head.
“You never sent up the tea.” Leanna asked. Cheetara shook her head no.
“Then who did, you where the only one who knew I was there last night,” Leanna said.
“No, I wasn’t the only one who knew where you were, Lion-o had asked me where you was, he said that the two of you had gotten into an argument earlier and he wanted to find you and apologize, so I told him where he could find you,” Cheetara explained.
“You don’t think that, no I can’t think that way,” Leanna said rubbing her temples, “ I wish I could get rid of this damn headache, I can’t even think straight”.
“You should let Tygra to check you over, just to be on the safe side, if you want I will go with you,” Cheetara said as she stood. The two women headed inside to find Tygra.
“Well, did you find anything,” Leanna asked as she sat on the bed. Tygra stood looking over a printout, she could tell by the look on his face he was not pleased. “First, I want to reassure you that your cub is fine and showing on ill effects from the drugs in your system,” Tygra said looking at the two women.
“You mean she was drugged,” Cheetara exclaimed. “Yes, I found a very potent aphrodisiac and some kind of hallucinogenic in her system,” Tygra frowned.
Leanna’s eyes widened, “Lion-o drugged me,” She whispered.
“Now Leanna, I think you’re over reacting,” Tygra replied trying to calm her.
“No I am not, how else do you explain what you found,” Leanna said pointing at the paper Tygra had in his hand.
“I’m telling you that man is not my husband, you have to believe me, he may look like Lion-o and sound like him, but that is not Lion-o, the heart never lies,” Leanna said as she got up off the bed and suddenly became dizzy.
“Leanna, for the sake of your baby you must calm down,” Tygra replied grabbing her arm.
“Cheetara, you would be able to tell the difference, go find Lion-o and talk to him, if your sixth sense doesn’t give you a warning then I must be going crazy,” Leanna said quietly as she sat down on the edge of the bed.
“Leanna, I will find him and talk to him and if you are right then must find out who this person is and what he is up to,” Cheetara replied placing her hand on Leanna’s shoulder, “we have to be very careful because he would know where our Lion-o is”.
“Thank-you,” Leanna smiled at the cheetah. “We will keep this between the three of us until we know for sure what’s going on and what he is up to”.
“I still say you’re over reacting,” Tygra said shaking his head.
“Do you want proof,” Leanna said looking at him, ”Then here’s your proof,” Leanna replied as she showed Tygra the two large bruises on her shoulders, “This happened yesterday when he got angry, demanded my crossbow and pinned me to the wall”. “Would your Lion-o do something like that,” Leanna asked. Tygra just looked at her with a shocked expression on his face.
“My point exactly,” Leanna replied covering the bruises.
“Leanna, I’m sorry,” Tygra said, “ you have to stay away from him, he could be dangerous”.
“No, I have to stay as close as possible to him, he thinks I don’t know what’s going on, so I’m going to play the good little wife and obey his orders that I am to remain here, there has to be a reason why he wants to keep me here at the Lair,” Leanna said looking at Tygra.
Tygra gave her a very concerned look.
”Don’t worry, I will be careful, I will go get the tracking device from my crossbow and keep it with me at all times, okay,” Leanna replied. Tygra nodded, ”Just be very careful, we don’t want anything to happen to you”.
“I will,” Leanna said as she headed out the door.
Leanna headed to the sword chamber where all the weapons where stored. She placed her hand on the hidden doorplate; the door slide quietly open and she went inside. She walked over to where her crossbow lay and picked it up. With a push of a button, a small compartment opened to reveal the tiny tracking device. She quickly removed it and put it down the front of her uniform top.
She glanced over at the sword, which was resting in its usual place. Usually if someone walked in the eye would open to acknowledge his or her presents. She walked over and looked at the sword, she reached out to touch it when she heard the door open behind her. She quickly dropped her hand and turned around.
“What are you doing here,” Lion-o replied as he walked over to her.
“I just wanted to check to see if my crossbow had been damaged, what are you doing here, I thought you where still sleeping” She asked as he came closer. “I don’t have to explain myself to you,” He said angrily.
”I didn’t say you had too,” Leanna replied annoyed, “I just asked a simple question, you don’t have to bite my head off”. She turned to walk away when he stepped front of her.
“Don’t you talk to me like that,” he said leering at her. Her senses warned her of danger, “Stay away from me,” she said as she backed up. ”No, I will not, you belong to me my pet,” He said as he touched her cheek. Leanna looked at him, his expression changed to that of anger as he put his hand around her throat and squeezed lightly. “I see you still have yet to learn whom your master is,” He said as he kissed her violently.
Leanna brought up her hand and dug her claws into the side of his cheek. He screamed in pain and backhanded her across the face sending her to the floor. “You little bitch, you’re going to pay for that,” He shouted as he made a move towards her grabbing her by the hair, he snapped a restraining collar around her neck that would choke or shock her into unconsciousness. He pressed a button to show her what would happen if she disobeyed him. Leanna fell to her knees as the collar choked her. “There’s a good little pet,” He smirked as he watched Leanna stagger to her feet.
He grabbed her wrists, shackled them together and dragged her with him as he walked over to the table and removed the sword form it’s hiding place, he pulled out the communicator, ”I have it,” he said as they where transported to the black pyramid.
“Argon you have done well,” Mumm-ra replied as he emerged from his crypt.
“I held up my end of the bargain, you can keep your money, I have a better prize,” Argon replied as he handed the sword over to Mumm-ra. Leanna looked on in horror as the mummy took the sword and transformed Argon back into his human form. “You,” She exclaimed. “I see you remember me,” Argon smiled. “What do you want with me,” She gasped as she struggled to break free.
“You will soon find out,” Argon laughed, “you my dear are going to make me a lot of money”.
“Where is my husband,” Leanna asked.
“Behave and I will take you to him,” Argon replied pulling her towards him. Leanna stopped struggling,” I will do what you asked but please take me to him,” Leanna pleaded. Argon smiled and took her deep into the pyramid. The smell of death and decay and god only knows what else hung heavy in the stale air. They walked down a dimly lit hallway and stopped in front of the door where Lion-o was held captive inside.
Argon unlocked the door, allowed Leanna inside, as her eyes adjusted to the semidarkness of the room she spotted Lion-o slumped unconscious in the corner. A thick heavy chain fastened around his chest and wrist attaching him to the wall, there was enough slack that he could only move a few feet. She had to keep her emotions in check; to loose control now would mean the end for both of them.
Leanna ran his side; “Lion-o,” she whispered as she cupped his face and raised it so he was facing her. The second she touched him she felt the warmth of their bond, “Leo, you have to wake up,” She pleaded softly in his ear. Somewhere within the depths of darkness that surrounded his unconscious mind, Lion-o was aware of someone calling to him, touching him, he felt a soft warm glow surround him, it was his bond with Leanna, it was as if she was here with him.
Lion-o opened his eyes. ”Leanna,” He said weakly not believing his eyes. “Yes, it’s me,” She smiled at him. He pulled her into a fierce hug, burying his face into the softness of her thick black mane. “I must be dreaming,” He said quietly in her ear. “No, you are not dreaming, I wish you where then we would be at home,” She said softly trying very hard not to cry.
“How did you get here,” He whispered as he let her go.
“That imposter brought me here, he has been posing as you since yesterday” She said gesturing behind her. “Yes, I know,” Lion-o whispered. “Are you injured,” She asked looking him over. “No, I’m alright just a few cuts and bruises, it’s just this collar is making me so weak,” Lion-o said quietly. “I need to get that off you,” Leanna said quietly. “You need to get out of here and warn the others,” Lion-o whispered.
“Not until I free you first, Take the clip out of my hair,” Leanna whispered as she laid her head on his chest. Lion-o reached up and stroked her hair, to Argon it just looked like a sign of affection. Lion-o palmed the clip and put his hand over Leanna’s, she took the clip and used her body to block Argon’s view, she lean forward and rested her forearms against his chest so she could pick at the lock.
“You have been reading your father’s Tec manuals again haven’t you,” Lion-o grinned, then he seen the forming of a bruise on her cheek.
“Did he do that to you, “Lion-o growled as he moved closer to her. She never answered she just kept on working on the lock. “I can’t pick the lock if you don’t hold still,” Leanna whispered.
“You never answered me,” Lion-o said as he reached out and put his finger under her chin, forcing her to look at him. “Yes,” Leanna said softly. She stopped for a moment, reached down the front of her uniform top, pulled out the small tracking device, and pushed the button and then put it back in it’s hiding place “The others are on their way”.
“Got anything else hidden under that uniform,” Lion-o smirked. “It’s always good to be prepared,” Leanna winked as she continued working on the collar. “There is something different about you, what else has he done to you,” He said eyeing her curiously.
“It doesn’t matter, you are the one who is important right now, the sword is here, call to it,” she whispered avoiding his gaze.
“Okay, that’s enough,” Argon replied as he started to walk over to her. Leanna saw him coming, she turned back to Lion-o and hugged him the best she could, “I am sorry for everything, please forgive me, ” She whispered in his ear. “Leanna, what’s going on,” Lion-o asked taking her hand. She looked at him, she couldn’t hold back the tears any longer, ”forgive me,” She whispered and squeezed his hand tightly.
Lion-o looked up and saw Argon walking over. “Leanna,” Lion-o whispered giving her a confused look.
“Come on my pet, it is time to go,” Argon replied as he grabbed for Leanna to pulled her free. “No, keep your filthy hands off of her,” Lion-o snarled as he held on tightly to Leanna.
Argon looked at the big cat, this lion was hell bent on keeping him away from his prize.
“Such a pathetic attempt to protect your mate,” Argon laughed as he pressed the controls for the collar, Leanna stiffened and let out a choking cry before she fell unconscious to the floor. ”You’re going to regret doing that,” Lion-o growled his crimson eyes flashed with anger.
What Argon did not know was that when Leanna was speaking to Lion-o she unfastened the collar from around his neck. This gave him the opportunity to regain some of his strength.
Argon saw the collar fall to the floor as Lion-o stood. He started to break free of the chains. Argon quickly grabbed Leanna and pulled out a small device.
“It’s such a shame I couldn’t take you too, it would be good for business to have a breeding pair. Just think of the money I could make selling your offspring, but you big fellow are much too dangerous, so I guess I will have to settle for your wife,” Argon smirked as he pressed a button on the device.
Lion-o watched in horror and they vanished right before his eyes. “Leanna, no,” He yelled, blinding rage flowed through him as he struggled against the thick chains; he let out a thunderous roar as he broke free of one of the bonds and reached out his hand. “Sword of omens come to my hand,” he commanded with all this heart and soul.
The sword that Mumm-ra now held let out a fierce growl at its masters command. Mumm-ra was taken by surprise as the sword flew out of his hand, burst through the door and straight into Lion-o’s waiting palm. He used the sword to cut the remaining bonds and ran out the door.
############
Leanna’s head began to throb as she began to regain consciousness; she slowly sat up and surveyed her surroundings. “I see your finally awake,” Argon replied as he threw a bottle of water through the bars of the cage. “What gives you the right to cage me,” Leanna growled.
“I demand that you let me go,” Leanna hissed
“You my pet are in no position to demand anything,” Argon laughed.
“When Lion-o finds me and he will find me, you will regret the day you where ever born,” Leanna growled.
“I’m surprised he even wanted to see you, I told him all about our little romp in your bed,” Argon chuckled.
“Did you tell him you drugged me in order to get me there,” Leanna asked angrily.
Argon looked at her and starting laughing, “You my pet are something else, you know you’re quite the animal”.
“I’m not your damn pet, nor am I an animal” Leanna said growled.
“If it moves like a cat and looks like a cat, then you’re a cat, and cats are animals,” Argon grinned at her
“My ancestors may have evolved from cats, but that does not make me an animal,” Leanna replied narrowing her eyes at him.
“To my clients you are an animal,” Argon chuckled
“Well Argon, then I guess that makes you an ugly ape,” Leanna hissed.
“You are trying my patients my pet, I would teach you how to respect your master but I don’t want to damage you, it’s bad for business,” Argon said.
“Let me out of here and take this collar off of me, then we will see who causes damage to whom,” Leanna growled narrowing her eyes at him.
“It’s going to take a lot to tame you,” Argon replied. “I have a few collector on their way here now”.
“A couple will pay a fortune to have such a high spirited cat such as yourself, but they may not be as kind as me,” he smiled as he walked away.
Leanna’s eyes widened in fear, he was going to sell her as if she was some kind of zoo animal.
She rubbed her neck trying to relieve the pressure of the collar; she reached down to retrieve the tracking device only to find it gone. ”Damn it,” She cursed silently
Leanna looked over and was shocked to see a row of cages that was only a few inches apart from each other. They held different types of wild creatures there was on third earth. Her heart sank as her eyes fell upon the first cage that held a large male unicorn. The second cage held a pair of colorful parrots that squawked loudly at Argon when they seen him.
The third held a magnificent orange tiger, which weight close to six hundred pounds; it looked at her and let out a low growl.
The fourth cage held a beautiful female black panther; its yellow piercing gaze never left hers.
The fifth one that was beside her held a large White Mountain Lion, She knew this cat, it was snow meow.
She tested the cage, there was no way of breaking out. She looked over at snow meow, “Snowman must be worried about you,” She said as she reached her hand out to the big cat. Snow meow licked her hand and pawed at the floor of the cage,” I know, I want to get out of here too,” Leanna said as she leaned back against the bars she was so thirsty and hungry.
She felt the slight movement of her cub. “Don’t worry little one, your father will be here soon,” she whispered as she placed her hand protectively over her stomach.
She picked up the water, she figured he may have put something in it but she was so thirsty she had to have a drink. She leaned her head back against the bars and closed her eyes.
The sound of voices brought her out of her light sleep. “Argon these are the same pitiful creatures you showed us yesterday,” A man complained. “Yes, but I have something very special to show you this time,” Argon said as he lead the group to the cage that held Leanna. “This cat is very rare, only a few of her kind exist,” Argon said as he showed them Leanna.
Leanna never moved she kept her head down against her knees as they approached, they wanted to see an animal, then by Jaga they where going to get a animal.
“What kind of trick is this Argon, that’s just a woman,” The man replied pointing at Leanna.
“Come on my pet, show the men your face, “Argon ordered. Leanna never moved, Argon picked up a bucket of cold water and threw it on her. The shock of the cold water made her jump; she looked up at Argon and bared her teeth in a feral growl.
“Argon you devil, you have been holding out on us,” The other man laughed as he moved so he could get a closer look at her. “I have never seen any thing like her before, what is she” he said another man said.
“She is a Thunderian Lioness,” Argon replied gesturing to a very wet Leanna, “ But you have to be careful around her, she can be quite dangerous”.
“You, cat, stand up so I can get a look at you,” The man shouted at her. Leanna narrowed her eyes at him and let out a low growl. Argon held up the controller so she could see it. Leanna spit at him.
“I would really like to see the rest of her before I place my bid,” Another man replied as he joined the others. “Can’t tell if she is in good shape with those clothes covering her,” he said staring at her.
“You heard the man,” Argon smirked. “Strip,” He ordered her.
Leanna shook her head and backed herself up into the corner.
“Look my pet, you have one of two choices, you either do it willingly or I will shock you until you are unconscious and strip you myself, your choice,” He said in a low voice.
Leanna stood and turned her back to the four men as she started to remove her uniform.
“Lion-o please hurry,” She whispered as she turned and stood completely nude before the four men. Argon held out this hand, “You won’t be needing those any more” He grinned as she handed him her clothing.
“Beautiful isn’t she,”Argon smiled as he looked at her, “ she has very good muscle tone and her coloring and masking are perfect”.
“Yes, but can she be domesticated,” another man said as he pointed at her. A huge smile crossed Argon’s face, “well, with the use of the collar she should be easily trained,” He said giving her an evil grin.
Leanna’s eyes grew dark with anger, ” Domesticated, I am not some animal that performs tricks” she growled and lunged at him. He very quickly jumped back and pushed the button on the controller, she fell to her knees gasping for air. “I told you she could be dangerous,” Argon replied looking down at Leanna, ”who ever buys her should think about having her de-clawed, if not, you could mount her Lion’s head to the wall and use her hide as a nice throw rug ”.
“Come gentlemen lets go inside and discuss business,” Argon replied as he led the three men to the shack.
Leanna leaned against the bars of the cage and curled up trying to block out the chill; she closed her eyes fighting back the tears, she has to find away out of here. She heard snow meow rubbing the side of his head against the bars trying to get her attention.
“I know how you feel brother cat,” She whispered as she turned and put her arm threw the bars and scratched the big cat behind the ear. “Don’t you worry my friend, we will soon be out of here, I hope”.
###############
Lion-o stood before Mumm-ra with sword in hand. ”Where is she,” Lion-o bellowed
Mumm-ra looked at him and laughed. “You’re wasting valuable time cub, he has probably sold her by now”.
Blinding rage threatened to over take him, “I should
rip you apart with my bare hands,” Lion-o said just before he hit Mumm-ra with
a blast from the sword. Mumm-ra flew back slamming him against the wall,
the power form the sword reacted with Lion-o rage. Mumm-ra got to his feet and
threw a blast at Lion-o.
Out of nowhere a golden blur knocked the Mummy off his
feet. Lion-o heard a loud crack of a whip and looked over as Tygra and Panthro
appeared. Lion-o fired another shot again with the sword, this time Mumm-ra
retreated.
“Where’s Leanna,” Cheetara asked as she ran over to Lion-o.
“Argon has her,” Lion-o said as they ran outside. “Argon,” Cheetara exclaimed “He’s the one who was hitting on Leanna the night we took her to the bar”.
‘Tygra see what you can find out about this Argon,” Lion-o replied as they jumped into the tundertank. The sword let out a fierce growl. “Sword of omens give me sight beyond sight,” Lion-o commanded as he held the mystic sword to his eyes. The sword showed him Leanna locked in a cage, and then Argon taking three men to see her, then the sight of Leanna standing there naked as the men gawked at her. The last scene showed her curled up in a ball cold, wet, naked and frightened.
Lion-o quietly replaced the sword.
“What is it,” Cheetara asked quietly as she sat beside him. He closed his eyes
for a moment before he let out a roar and slammed his fist in the sidewall of
the tank. “Panthro head north, Leanna is in grave danger, she is by a small
shack five miles from
“Lion-o,” Tygra replied turning in his seat. “I have bad news, This Argon it a dealer in rare and exotic animals, you do not want to know what his main export is”.
“Let me guess, rare cats,” Lion-o said quietly. Tygra nodded. “Contact Mandora, she will want to know about him”.
“Lion-o, there is something you should know before we get there, “Cheetara said as she moved closer to him. He turned and looked at her. “It’s not my place to tell you, but under the circumstances I feel I must,” Cheetara replied placing her hand on his arm, “Lion-o, Leanna is four months pregnant and if Argon finds out I don’t know what he would do to her or your unborn cub”.
“What!” Lion-o exclaimed. “Why didn’t she tell me?” He asked.
“She wasn’t sure how you would feel about it,” Cheetara said. ”Haven’t you noticed that she has been wearing her uniform a little on the loose side,” She asked.
“No, not really, we’ve been having a few problems” Lion-o said quietly, then it hit him ”that’s why she has been so distant and irritable lately, and all this time I thought she was having second thoughts about me”.
“Are you kidding, Lion-o, Leanna loves you very much, that I know for a fact,” Cheetara grinned at him.
”You must understand something, her body is going through some major changes as your cubs grows within her, it’s the hormones that are making her so tired and irritable, she’s been slowly gaining weight, her breast are sore to the touch, she’s sick almost constantly. Now you know why she has been acting the way she has,” Cheetara said looking at him. “Just don’t be angry with her for not telling you, and what ever you do don’t tell her I told you, she would kill me,” Cheetara laughed.
Lion-o just sat there and said nothing as he thought about what Cheetara had just told him. Then slowly a huge grin crept across his face, he leaned forward in his seat.
“Can’t you make this damn thing go any fast Panthro,” Lion-o yelled.
“Don’t worry we will be there in a few minutes,” Panthro replied as he forced a little more power out of the engine.
#############
“Don’t you worry Joseph, she is worth every penny you paid for her,” Argon bragged as they round the corner of the shack.
“Does she have a mate, ”Joseph asked as the neared Leanna’s cage.
“No, she was all alone when I caught her,” Argon said as he started to unlock the cage.
“Liar,” Leanna hissed, “I have a mate and he will hunt you to the ends of third earth until he gets me back, and when he does, you will pay dearly”. Leanna backed up until she was against the back of the cage, then bolted, slamming her shoulder against the cage door, the door flew open sending Argon flying to the ground, she ran for the woods as fast as her legs would carry her.
“Don’t let her get away, I paid good money for her,” Joseph yelled at Argon.
“She won’t get far,” Argon grinned as he seen she was running right into a trap.
Leanna did not see the steal trap until her left foot made contact. The steal jaws clamped on her lower calf with such force she could feel the bone crack, she cry out in pain as she fell hard to the ground.
“I will teach you to run from me cat,” Joseph replied angrily as he pressed the controller for the collar. Her hand flew to her neck as she tried to rip the collar from around her throat. The last thing she saw before she passed out was the smile on Argon’s face.
“I don’t think she will be running any where for a while,” Argon smirked as he bent over her unconscious form. “Sorry my pet, but you do have to learn to listen to your new master”.
“Come on Joseph, let’s get her fixed up so you can take your new pet home,” Argon replied.
“I didn’t think you cared,” Joseph laughed as they carried Leanna back to the cabin. “I’m just looking out for my clients, I don’t want to get the reputation of selling damaged goods,” Argon chuckled.
#######################
“It’s taking too long to get there, can’t this thing go any faster Panthro,” Lion-o shouted over the roar of the engine. “Lion-o I understand that you’re worried, we all are, but yelling at Panthro isn’t going to get us there any faster,” Cheetara replied trying to calm the lion down.
“Yes I know, it’s just that I, “Lion-o started to say but he stopped, sighed and remained silent.
“I know,” Cheetara replied placing her hand in his shoulder, “Don’t worry we will get her back”.
“What I do not understand is why Leanna, why would he take her and not one of us,” Lion-o asked.
“I don’t know the answer to that, perhaps he thought where she is smaller she would be less of a threat,” Cheetara answered.
“If he thinks that then he is in for a real surprise. Leanna maybe small but she is not weak, she is quite strong especially when she gets mad. I have trained with her, she damn near took my head off once, thank Jaga it was only a wooden training sword, you wouldn’t know it to look at her but she’s got quite the temper,” Lion-o grinned. Then his face took on a more serious expression, “what if we don’t get there in time, what if something has happened to her, I don’t want to loose her”.
“If you are thinking what I think you are thinking then don’t, you would be the first to know if anything has happened to her, I’m sure she is okay, I bet right now she is sitting waiting for us to come and get her,” Cheetara smiled trying to reassure him.
“There has been something that has been bothering me, just before Argon took her she asked me to forgive her, she had a strange look on her face when she said it, do you know why she would say something like that,” Lion-o asked.
Cheetara knew exactly what he was talking about, but she did not want to say anything. She knew if she did it would only make matters worse. Lion-o was upset enough; he did not need to know what Argon did to Leanna. That was up to Leanna to tell him what had happened.
“Maybe she felt badly about leaving you at the pyramid,” Cheetara replied not wanting to say any more.
Lion-o knew there is more to it than that, he remembered the things Argon had said about her; he thought he was just doing it to taunt him. The look on Leanna’s face confirmed what argon had said was true. Lion-o knew it was not her fault, he was worried that if Argon did indeed find out that she was pregnant, he may do what he said he would like to do, sell his offspring and there was no way on third earth that was going to happen.
Argon had just finished packing his belongings when they heard the roaring of an engine stop out side the small shack. Argon went over and peered out the window, ”Oh crap,” Argon muttered as he saw the four adult ThunderCats jump out of the thundertank. He quickly looked around for an escape route and found none.
Lion-o came crashing through the door, “Where is Leanna,” Lion-o roared as he jumped in front of Argon with sword in hand. Argon backed up, ”She’s not here,” Argon said with fear in his voice. Lion-o grabbed him by the throat, lifting him clear off the ground, “Where is she,” Lion-o growled as he dug his claws into Argon’s throat. “I sold her,” Argon croaked.
Argon’s face started to turn purple; “I could snap your neck like a twig, but the code of Thundera which prevents me from killing you on the spot. But in your case,” Lion-o replied in a low deep voice as he squeezed a little tighter, “I am willing to over look it”.
“Lion-o don’t, he’s not worth it” Panthro said placing his hand on the Lion’s shoulder. Lion-o narrowed his eyes at Argon and let out a load roar as he threw him to the floor.
“You will tell me where we can find her,” Lion-o growled.
“Lion-o,” Tygra shouted as he came through the door.” She is gone, we searched everywhere, and the only thing we found was this”. Tygra held up the trap that had caught Leanna. Lion-o looked at it and saw blood. “Please tell me that’s not blood, ”Lion-o replied looking at Tygra.
“I’m afraid it is, we followed Leanna’s foot prints, looks like she managed to escape only to be caught by the trap. The blood is quite fresh so I would say it happened no more than half an hour ago,” Tygra said shaking his head, “where ever she is, she’s hurt, this thing is made to do a lot of damage”.
Lion-o turned back to Argon who was cowering in a corner, “Not so arrogant now are you,” Lion-o snorted looking at Argon. “Who has my wife?”
“I don’t know where he lives, we only had contact by radio,” Argon whimpered.
“Then I suggest you contact him now, Panthro contact the Liar and let them know what’s going on and see if they can trace the signal, we will do the same,” Tygra replied. “If we can trace his signal we may know where he is taking Leanna, or at least know what direction he is headed,” Tygra explained to Lion-o.
“That will take too long,” Lion-o replied as he withdrew the sword.
“Sword of omens give me sight beyond sight,” Lion-o commanded, the hilt curled and the eye came to life.
Lion-o sighed and replaced the sword. “Nothing, the sword showed me nothing, she must be too far away or something is blocking it”. Lion-o closed his eyes and concentrated trying to make a connection with their bond. He felt a faint spark, she was there, she was alive, but she was either unconscious or too far away. “You want to hope and pray that nothing happens to my wife or unborn child, because code or no code I will come and hunt you down and,” Lion-o growled.
“Lion-o,” Tygra said interrupting him, ”Don’t worry we will find her”.
